"New York, New York" as written by and John/ebb Kander....
Start spreadin’ the news, I’m leavin’ today
I want to be a part of it, New York, New York
These vagabond shoes are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it, New York, New York
I want to wake up in a city that doesn’t sleep
And find I’m king of the hill, top of the heap
These little town blues are melting away
I’ll make a brand new start of it in old New York
If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere
It’s up to you New York, New York
New York, New York I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps
And find I’m A- number one, top of the list, king of the hill, A- number one
These little town blues, are melting away
I’m gonna make a brand new start of it in old New York
And if I can make it there, I’m gonna make it anywhere
It’s up to you New York, New York.. New York!

General CommentThis song doesn't mean much. I hope no one thinks it was an attempt to reach out to New Yorkers, even if it is...and if so, and you don't like it...fuck off!! Reel Big Fish is a Cali band reaching out to sister New York!

    And this song is awesome!

    RBF eternally!!

General CommentYeah, or maybe, they're just covering one of Sinatra's most famous songs.

General Commentactually RBF's label was making a sinatra tribute album so aaron and scott decided to do new, york, new york. after recording it, the album got canned. since it took 15 vocal tracks to complete, they just decided to throw it on cheer up instead of wasting it.
