"Flesh 'n' Blood" as written by and Danny Elfman....
My friend's flesh and blood
She lies overtime
You'd nail her if you could
But she says
Love me for my mind
In my time
I'm not that kind

My friend's flesh and blood
Night size, perfect ten
So rude, she's no good
But as she says
It pays to win
Play to win
She plays to win

My friend's flesh and blood
Street wise for her time
You'd nail her if you could
But she says
Love me for my mind
In my time

General CommentIt's about trusting one another and having to stick one another to get through things. It's that simple, yet that complicated.

General CommentWhat is "the ghost". Everything else seems to be about trusting people, but the chorus confuses me.

General CommentHe's talking about how easy it is to die, and how it happens to everyone since we are all nothing more then "Flesh 'n' Blood," and it ends up being the ultimate equalizer. But he's not going to give up to death without a fight, no matter how tempting and also about how his loved can help keep him strong.

"Not going to give up the ghost" means he's not going to give up to death.
