"Where Have You Been?" as written by Aaron Barrett, Matt Wong, Scott Allen Klopfenstein, Dan Regan and Carlos F. Garza....
You called me up last night in tears
And said you missed me after all these years
But I've been waiting here so long
I've gotten over it since you've been gone

You called me late last night again
And said you're finished with your new boyfriend
Asked if you could come back home
So sorry that you left me all alone

Well, say you love me, you love me again
But if you love me, where have you been?
You say you need me more than anyone else
Well, go to hell, where have you been?

You showed up at my door today
And said my friend why do you push me away
Yeah, life with him was just so dull
But what we had was something wonderful

Well, say you love me, you love me again
But if you love me, where have you been?
You say you need me more than anyone else
Well, go to hell, where have you been?

No way, you wish, I don't need this
What makes you think I?d ever want you again?
Yeah right, as if, I don't need this
What makes you think I?d ever want you again, again?

You called me late last night again
You said you've finished with your new boyfriend
Asked if you could come back home
So sorry that you left me all alone

Well, you say you love me, love me again
But if you love me, where have you been?
You say you need me more than anyone else
Well, go to hell, where have you been?

You say you love me, you love me again
But if you love me, where have you been?
And if you love me, where have you been?
And if you love me, where have you been?
And if you love me, where have you been?

General CommentI think that skatoonist is wrong. I interviewed Ryland AND Aaron, and both spent MORE than enough time with me. Enough that I felt bad. I requested they play a song they do not normally play at their concerts, and they did so. I cannot disagree more.
This song: When you're dumped, and have FINALLY gotten over it. They come back into your life...because now THEY were dumped. It's karma, baby.

General CommentI love this song so much! It's not usual Reel Big Fish (meaning it's missing the horns), but the lyrics are excellent!!

General CommentI agree, totally different in the usually RBF. But great lyrics, it's obvious as to what it means, so I need not explain

General CommentThey're always there when you need them most... I though RBF was gone for good, and when I go through a major transition in my life guess who's back. They've helped me so much.
This song reminds me of my ex when she kept coming back at the most wrong times, I'd start to move on and she'd call or kiss me or something.. But when I needed her the most she was gone. Now I'm over her for good and now the only question, Who's the perfect girl.

General CommentYeah, it's definitely a change from their usual sound. They sorta stripped away the ska sound but it still sounds like RBF. It's a great song.

General CommentThis song is another way of saying "Move away bitch, your hypocrisy is not needed". Also, when he says that the girl calls late, probably for comfort, because she broke up with her boyfriend...well, that's it, fuck off bitch. You wanted him, too bad, keep that sunovabitch. The part where it says "where have you been go to hell" or something also is great :D, Oh and the sound is much better in this format and style rather than the trumpets and ska

General CommentReel Big Fish is more synonymous with ska than the creators, the great and awesome Skatellites!

    Reel Big Fish = SKA!!

No one will replace or ever be better than RBF!!
There are horns, just not as prevalent as always!

Awesome album, awesome song, AWESOME BAND!

Where have THEY been...in our hearts!
    Forever!

General Commentif you download this song off their website in .ram format, there's a little intro at the begining where you here some record exec saying something to the effect of "im really loving the new album, but we dont really have a song that we can push on the radio. I was wondering if you guys could go back in and record something without the trumpets, maybe a little less ska".

luckily enough for us, their sell out song of the album is still amazing!
