"Leave Me Alone" as written by and Roger Dowding Keith Morris....
Leave me alone- I'm a freak
leave me alone- make it easy for yourself
everywhere I go they all stare
I don't understand why they care
they stare at me all in black
and when I turn they stare at my back
all these things can't,
all these things don't...
let me go.
Leave me alone- I'm a freak
leave me alone- make it easy for yourself
everywhere I go they all stare
I don't understand why they care
and I don't want to be part of your world
and I don't want to see the things you see
can't you understand how I feel?
can't you let me be?

Leave, leave me alone
Leave, leave me alone
Leave, leave me alone
Leave, leave me alone

    General CommentI can relate to this song, because I too suffer this sort of egocentrism.

    A friend of mine would describe it as something of a "don't look at me/look at me" phenomenon.

    I am curious about these three lines:

    "all these things can't,
    all these things don't...
    let me go. "

    And that's all I have to say about that.

    General CommentHe probably is saying in those lines that he can't/doesn't fit in with normal society so stop trying.

    General CommentRecently, I have listened to a 20/20 installment talking about "The Gothic Movement," from 1999. It cast some light onto the possible meaning behind this song--possibly Rogue meant to respond to said show?
    There is even a remix with some of the more negative clips from the show.
