"Blood Money" as written by and Jon Bon Jovi....
Hey Patty Garrett that's what I used to call you
They tell me you want me but I hear they've got you
They made you a lawman with a badge made of silver
They paid you some money to sell them my blood

But you say, this ain't about me and this ain't about you
Or the good and the bad times we've both been through
When the lines between brothers and justice have changed
You do what you've gotta cause you can't walk away

Wonder what would of have happened if you were the killer and I was the hero
Would things be the same ?
Or would I have traded your life for my own life ?
Would I have paid your debts in your place ?
I don't know

But this ain't about me and this ain't about you
Or the good and the bad times we've both been through
When the lines between brothers and justice have changed
You do what you've gotta cause you can't walk away

Blood money, that's what I call it
'Cause money for blood ain't no fair exchange
Blood money
Bought and then sold you
But your conscience is all you can take to your grave

General CommentI think this is about two people who had been old friends way back when. One friend turned 'good'- in a sense that he became an officer, the other friend turned 'bad'- perhaps a killer, due to the lines..

"I wonder what would have happened
    If you were the killer"

though it may just be metaphorical. Therefore, I think it's the 'killer' questioning his old friend- Patty Garrett- on his decisions.. like, turning the 'killer' in.

I hope someone understands that. /: FABULOUS song.

General CommentThis song is taken from the OS of the film "Young guns 2" and it tells the story of the friendship between Billy the Kid (the bad) and Patty Garrett, who was once Billy the Kid's best friend and as him was a bandit. Then Patty Garrett became the sheriff and its aim was put in jail Billy the Kid. The song is about change of feelings between them. Very nice song about friendship.

General CommentI don't really see it as a nice song, cuz Pat betrayed Billy... If you watch YG2, in one scene Pat decides not to follow Billy and the others, and says that even though he won't follow them, he'll always be one of the them.. After that he gets payed to kill Billy and becomes a sheriff..
