Here, I said
don't even let this go
and it's
hey to that old man.
I'm coming in the graveyard
with my little tune,
it's June
I said she's gone but I'm alive
I'm alive
I'm coming in the graveyard
to sing you to sleep now

General Commenti read in a tori amos bio book that when her grandmother died that she used to go to her grave and sing to her and i think that this song is about that. i once heard someone say that they though this song was cute and that is not my impression at all i feel saddne ,grief and loss

General CommentIt seems to be about not taking for granted that you're alive but also respecting the dead.

General CommentHaha, this probably sounds weird/oddly perverted, but: I always thought this song was about having sex (possibly...in the graveyard) after someone has died. Kind of a juxaposition of feeling incredibly alive and the absence of life - "she's gone, but I'm alive" - you know?
