"When Will I Learn" as written by Ariel Rechtshaid, Louis Castle and James Bairian....
I bought everything that you asked for, everything but you wanted more, I guess
I wasn't quite enough. I did everything that you asked me to, everything that I
could do, I guess I wasn't quite enough. I should have acted like a hopeless
pessimist, 'cause I know that you're a sucker for that type, and if I told you I
was gonna kill myself, maybe then you'd comfort me and hold me tight. I took you
every place that you wanted to go, every single place that I know, I guess I
wasn't quite enough. I told you everything that you wanted to hear, I said I
love you in your ear, I guess I wasn't quite enough. (Chorus)

General CommentThis is such a cool song. I'd say it is fairly obvious what it is about. I guy really likes a girl, and he is just an overall nice guy. Then he probably watches this girl keep going back to these guys who are like "HO HUM! The world is not for me!." He, however knows that they are just faking that attitude for attention, and it understandably pisses him off, because he was being honest with her and they are being fake and he wants her to realize that.
