"Bury Me" as written by and Chad Kroeger....
I'm sorry, but red's my color now.
Guess you got to me somehow.
"This mistake has broken me,"
she said. She said,

"Just shut your mouth and take the blame,
and paint your face with the shame,
and bend me to the ground."

Take these eyes and bury me.
So that I can't see your face.
And when you die, I can't cry.

I've been there before, flesh is warm,
but I've grown cold.
State your claim into my veins,
and scrape my face in your hands,
and bend me to the ground.

Take these eyes and bury me.
So that I can't see your face.
And when you die, I can't cry

I can't justify your eyes, your eyes.
Justify your eyes, your eyes.
Justify your eyes.

Take these eyes and bury me.
So that I can't see your face
And when you die, I can't cry.

I can't cry
I can't cry
I can't cry
I can't cry
I can't cry

General CommentI did this from the live version, so the lyrics aren't 100%. PM me if you have any corrections. I love this song though. I think it's about a girl who treated him really badly and blamed him for everything. He doesn't want to see her anymore, and he feels if she died, he wouldn't cry.

General CommentDoes anyone know where I can hear ithis song? I tried looking on a Kazaa and a bunch of others like it but I can't seem to find it. These lyrics rock I wanna hear them with the music!
Anyway, Finch has such good lyrics! All their songs rock. Well, since this site is called 'Songmeanings': my interpretation of "Take these eyes and bury me. So that I can't see your face And when you die, I can't cry." is that he would cry if she died, because he still cares for her, even after she hurt him. That's why he's asking someone to "take these eyes", because if he didn't have eyes (figureatively speaking of course) then he wouldn't be able to cry if she died. And he's wishing he wouldn't when she died, because that proves to him that he still cares for her.
