Tom's in the bathroom
Trying to end his life
Sue's in the kitchen
Hiding all her knifes

She always says
It's the end of it that counts
Don't try so hard
To explain the way you feel

Try it on
You wear it easy

Late in the day
Tom can still be found
Listening to music
The Velvet Underground

He thinks it's a shame
That he can't be like Lou, or someone good,
With the power to explain
How he fights for control

Try it on
You wear it easy

All through the night
Tom's been walking 'round
Found someone's jacket
Lying on the ground

Try it on
You wear it easy

Rapejacket

General Comment hmmm... no comments yet. way awesome song. i think there's a certain feeling in this song that describes the pain of youth and heroin use/self destruction. and i think rape jacket is a metaphor for putting on an image to fit in and not feel depressed and alone anymore.
