Easy come and easy go
You've got a face like a radio
Never wanted it to tell the truth
But now the lies don't sound as good
As they used to

And I love you more
As your signal turns to noise
Your voice goes static in the haze
And I love you more
The further I get away

Tearing up another town
Getting drunk and falling down
Haven't missed your shoulder for awhile
My head feels better on the bathroom tile

And I love you more
As your signal turns to noise
Your voice goes static
Heartstrings fray
And I love you more
The further I get away

Tonight
There are people falling in love
All over the world
For just one night
Why can't we be them

Tonight
Hearts are breaking all over the dial
Bleeding and defiled
I can hear them breaking
Why do you have to make us like them
Your eyes are so far away
Does it make you happy
To see me so sad

General CommentBeautiful. One of the greatest songs written in my opinion. Reminds me of the tough end of an even tougher relationship. But I still love to listen to it all the time

General CommentI agree, this is one of my favourite songs. Personally, I keep it tucked away safe in a glass case, only to be broken open when it is really needed; it is so savagely bleak and despairing.
