"The Story So Far" as written by Cyrus William Bolooki, Chad Everett Gilbert, Ian R. Grushka, Stephen Lee Klein and Jordan I. Pundik....
I can't remember the time or place
Or what you were wearing
It's unclear about how we met
All I know is it was the best conversation that I've ever had

To this day I've never found someone
With eyes as wide as yours
I've been searching up and down this coast
Overlooking what I need the most

Did you notice I was afraid?
I thought I'd run out of things to say
Two more hours until today
Burns this away
And it starts all over again

[Chorus]
The sky will never look the same again
Til you show me how it could be
The sky will never look the same again
Til you show me how it could be

And everything is irrelevant
To the story so far
A coincidence that you looked like her from afar
Is it true that you like to sleep alone?
Or is it what you just tell everyone?

Did you notice I was afraid?
I thought I'd run out of things to say
Two more hours until today
Burns this away
And it starts all over again

[Chorus]

(Ahhhh, ahhh...)
Until you show me how it could be
(Ahhhh, ahhh...)
Until you show me how it could be

And when the world turns over
I'll keep my ears to the wall
And when the world turns over
I'll keep my feet straight on the ground

Did you notice I was afraid?
I thought I'd run out of things to say
Two more hours until today
Burns this away
And it starts all over again

[Chorus]

(Ahhhh, ahhh...)
Until you show me how it could be
(Ahhhh, ahhh...)
Until you show me how it could be

General CommentI think that this song means nothing will compare to the girl he once met and all he can do is compare all other girls to "the one that got away."

General Commentit's obviuslly about a love at first sight. to me they've met and falled in love and then, a few times later they got together forever, cuz in the firts times they were acting like friends and she was being tough("is it true taht you like to sleep alone / or is it what you just tell everyone?"). i totally get related to it, reminding myself of how i got together with my bf. looove it.

General CommentI've had that moment where you just meet someone and have the best conversation you've ever had but then somehow thats it.

I wish the world wouldn't go so fast so you could keep up with all the people you wish you could have.
