"The Look" as written by and Per Hkan Gessle....
One, two, three, four walking like a man
Hitting like a hammer
She's a juvenile scam
Never was a quitter
Tasty like a raindrop
She's got the look

Heavenly bound
Cause heaven's got a number
When she's spinning me around
Kissing is a color
Her loving is a wild dog
She's got the look

She's got the look (She's got the look) She's got the look (She's got the look)
What in the world can make a brown-eyed girl turn blue
When everything I'll ever do I'll do for you
And I go la la la la la she's got the look

Fire in the ice
Naked to the t-bone
Is a lover's disguise
Banging on the head drum
Shaking like a mad bull
She's got the look

Swaying to the band
Moving like a hammer
She's a miracle man
Loving is the ocean
Kissing is the wet sand
She's got the look

She's got the look (She's got the look) She's got the look (She's got the look)
What in the world can make a brown-eyed girl turn blue
When everything I'll ever do I'll do for you
And I go la la la la la she's got the look

Walking like a man
Hitting like a hammer
She's a juvenile scam
Never was a quitter
Tasty like a raindrop
She's got the look

She goes (na na na na na na)
She's got the look

She's got the look (She's got the look) She's got the look (She's got the look)
What in the world can make a brown-eyed girl turn blue
When everything I'll ever do I'll do for you
And I go la la la la la she's got the look

What in the world can make you so blue
When everything I'll ever do I'll do for you
And I go la la la la la (na na na na na na)
She's got the look
She goes (na na na na na na)
She's got the look, she's got the look
She goes (na na na na na na)
She's got the look, she's got the look
She goes (na na na na na na)

General CommentI think it is about one of thoes rare extreamly attractive woman that has a bit of wild nature and feels that she has the world in her hand because she basicly gets what ever she wants. She has a huge ego becsuse of the way men submit to her and because of this she has a extream selfconfidence everywhere she goes and it can even be seen in the way that she walks, even though it is not a true one. "Walking like a man, hitting like a hammer" Cool Song

General CommentI just saw a documentary about Roxette on Swedish television and Per Gessle who wrote the song actually said that he was just going for the rhythm of the melody and just filled it with what ever came to his mind at that point.
Later on when he had finished the lyrics he figured that it could be analyzed with a more poetic approach as well... but in the end it was just a catchy tune. And what catchy tune. Got the damn thing stuck on my head now. :D

General CommentLike the whistle in Joyride, these Swedes know how to write a catchy line of music. Everybody sing, "La la lala alala lallalal lallla lalalalal llalalallla - She's got the Look!"
