"The Man Don't Give A Fuck" as written by Walter Carl Becker and Donald Jay Fagen....
(Super Furry Animals)
Spent some times in stormy weather
Under clouds of my dilemma
Now there's nothing much to do
Except for sitting in front of televisions
Staring back at me
I'm just waiting for the microwaves
To wash me into the sea
Chorus:-
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
Out of focus ideology
Keep the masses from majority
Experts blame my stupid plan
Left to bleed while vultures glide
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else
You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else

General CommentI've heard that this song contains the most amount of swearwords in a pop song. And apparently it samples Steely Dan.
I think it might have originally been about a specific man in particular, but has evolved to be more about governments in general - I saw them last night and they had a montage of pictures of Bush and Blair and a quote ('All governments are liars and murderers') up before the song started. SFA are great live, by the way :)

General CommentIt's about the media and how they don't care about normal people, they just have a fixation on celebrities.

General CommentWhen they play it live they show a video that flashes the faces of politicians like Bush and Cheney, etc. and it says something like "all governments are lying to you" over and over and then they go into the song.
