"Don't Loose Your Head" as written by and Roger Meddows Taylor....
Don't lose your head
Don't lose your head
Don't lose your head (Don't lose your head)
No don't lose your head (Don't lose your head)
Hear what I say
Don't lose your way - yeah
Remember, love's stronger, remember love walks tall
(Don't lose your head, Don't lose your head)
Don't lose your heart (Don't lose your heart)
No don't lose your heart (Don't lose your heart)
(Hear what I say) Hear what I say - yeah
(Don't lose your way) Don't lose your way - yeah
Remember, love's stronger, remember love walks through walls

Don't drink and drive my car
Don't get breathalyzed
Don't lose your head
If you make it to the top and you wanna stay alive
Don't lose your head
Oooh (Don't lose your head)
Don't lose your head (Don't lose your head)
No don't lose your head (Don't lose your head)
(Hear what I say) Hear what I say - yeah
(Don't lose your way - hey) Don't lose your way - yeah
Remember, love's stronger, remember love conquers all
(Don't lose your head, Don't lose your head)
(Don't lose your head, Don't lose your head)
Don't lose your head
(Don't lose your head)
Don't lose your head - yeah yeah
(Don't lose your head)
Don't lose your head
(Don't lose your head, Don't lose your head)
Don't lose your head
(Don't lose your, don't lose your, don't lose your, don't lose your
Don't lose your, don't lose your, don't lose your, don't lose your head)

General CommentIt's kind of funny that this song is on the soundtrack for Highlander, considering that Highlander is a movie about people who can die only by decapitation. A very appropriate song!

My favorite lines are, "Don't drink and drive my car/Don't get breathalized." I read somewhere that Freddie included those lines because John had been caught drinking while driving and had his liscence revoked for a year so he had to go to the studio by tube train....

General CommentThis song is (along with pain is so close to pleasure and one year of love) the sole reason i hate the "A Kind of Magic" album. I have every album of the seventies, this one and Hot Space, and this is by far the worst ever. I'm sorry, queen is my favourite band, but i have to draw the line somewhere

General CommentIf you have no head, how can you love? no love equals only one head...you lose that no head and no love anymore for you!

because you let your heart rule your head! if you let love in, love will win.

If love wins over your head, you can be decaptiated as many times as you want...love will help you grow a new one.

It's a simple message folks, if you see Christopher Lambert in a dirty trenchcoat don't accept the love he is offering from his 'head'

    It'll make a mess.

General CommentI could agree with that scimitar_225...I also think A Kind of Magic is their worst album. The hits from that album aren't my favorites, and many of their other songs (namely the three you mentioned) seem like they weren't even trying. Like they were making the album just because they had to, and they figured, "We're rich and popular, it won't matter if we come up with a few songs just to take up space." But I don't totally hate these songs, they're kind of funny and rather pleasant to listen to at points, but not their best effort. Luckily, they picked up their act with The Miracle. I really liked that album.

Wanderpops, that's some pretty good insight into the song. I never thought of it that way.

General CommentAh! Highlander! It's just about the immortal people and how the only way to kill them is to decapitate them. The feel of the song really goes great with the part of the movie it's for.

I agree that it's not a GREAT album, but if you think of the purpose for which most of these songs were written, they fit it really well. If you haven't already, watch Highlander and then you'll possibly appreciate more the song with the context in which it was written.
