"In The Still Of The Night (I'll Remember)" as written by Troy Harold Seals, Mike Reid and Fredericke Parris....
In the still of the night
I held you, held you tight
Cause I love, love you so
Promise I'll never let you go
In the still of the night

I remember that night in May
The stars were bright above
I'll hope and I'll pray
To keep your precious love
Well before the light
Hold me again with all of your might
In the still of the night

So before the light
Hold me again with all of your might
In the still of the night
(In the still of the night)
In the still of the night

General CommentDennis Wilson never got much of a chance to sing lead and this song shows why. This is one of the greatest doo-wop/oldies hits of all time and he just makes it sound so bad. There is nothing sweet, or smooth in Dennis' voice. Go find the original by the Five Satins or a version that sounds just like it, and leave this one to gather dust.
