I get lost behind the plot
And I'm skinny with regret
And I barely breathe enough
And I'm swimming in the thoughts
That I haven't got to yet
And I crane to rise above

I know you're waiting for me
I know you'll still be there

I get weakened with the weight
And I'm riddled with remorse
And I spin, but not the rooms
And I'm shamed to have to state
That I'm bottled at the source
And I sputter on the fumes

I know you're waiting for me
I know you'll still be there
I know you're waiting for me
I know you'll still be there

My mind is mute
My nerves are numb
But still

I know you're waiting for me
I know you'll still be there
I know you're waiting for me
I know you'll still be there

General Commenti feel liike this song is about taking comfort in the fact that there will be someone to catch you when you fall. the only thing i see wrong with it is that it can lead to taking someone for granted and end up losing everything.

General Commentafter a long while thinking on this, i have changed my mind, i think it is about no matter what you can do, there is the one person who will always love you, and no matter how ugly or rubbish you think yourself that person will love you

General CommentThis song is about finding solace in the fact that you love yourself despite any short comings you've had that may haunt you and break you down.

    The lyricss point to this.
    A. Hes broken down - " remorse, spinning, regret"
    B. He's not giving up - " I crane to rise above"
    C. Abandoned by others, he is lost. But when he overcomes this depression he can find himself again "I know your waiting for me. I know you'll still be there"

If the song had been about anyone else, as some of you have put it, then it would probably not be titled 'Letter to Myself'. I have written a letter to myself before, and when I wrote down the word " you" obviously I was writing to myself. It is therapy.

Never give up on yourself, even if the world has moved on from you.

This is what I get from the lyrics and the tone of the music.
