ay,misfits have always been pretty literal about their lyrics, not many complicated metaphors and such. so this song is simple enough: A guy misses his dead wife/girlfriend greatly, and since he cant get to her in heaven, decides to take the quicker route to her, which is by going to the cemetary with a shovel. Beautiful, yet macabre |
