Lacuna Coil – Cold Heritage Lyrics | 21 years ago |
One of the best songs ever made. It's so beautiful, I cry almost ever time I hear it. |
System of a Down – Spiders Lyrics | 21 years ago |
It sounds nothing like Between Angels and Insect. The riffs in the songs are completely different and have completely different beats. Just listen. |
On Thorns I Lay – The Blue Dream Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Whoa dude...Good lyrics, very passionate and deep. |
Lacuna Coil – Stars (Dubstar cover) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
This isn't their song I found out. It's by Dubstar, and the version of Dubstar did doesn't even sound like this really. It's a big disappointment, saying this is one of there best songs otherwise. |
Boy Hits Car – In The Lateness Of A Day Lyrics | 22 years ago |
It's probably about a relationship and how he doesn't want to argue anymore, he just wants to get over it. He thinks the relationship won't work and won't even be about love... Brilliant song, but doesn't anyone notice this sounds ALOT like "46 and 2" by Tool? |
Boy Hits Car – La Playa Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I have no clue...It could be about people in France, hence the Lay Playa part... It's a great song though |
Boy Hits Car – Mr. Loh Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I had no clue what he was saying though. |
Tool – The Patient Lyrics | 22 years ago |
One thing a friend of my observaed was that "Lateralis" could be about a lateralis' brith while "The Patient" could be be his death. It fits quite well too, because "Lateralis" does seem to beb about his birth "All I see, in my infancy...". While "The Patient" looks back at his life. Yet, I dunno. You gusy seem to have better ideas. |
Lacuna Coil – This Is My Dream Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Brilliant song. Probably my favorite (damn, doesn't it songe very song is?). This is probably my favorite though honesty, it's so beautiful...The male's voice as he opens was so great. This song is so soft...Man, it's frickin' great. It's rather obvious what it's about, though. |
Magenta Descent – Malevolence Lyrics | 22 years ago |
It's about war and not understanding the meaning of it... |
Magenta Descent – Meaningless Parable Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I wrote this song about my friend's friend who commit suicide. He could've been stopped if my friend had his phone hooked up when his friend's girlfriend was calling him.. |
Lacuna Coil – Stars (Dubstar cover) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Damn, so many typos in that post...Circle*. |
Lacuna Coil – Stars (Dubstar cover) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Awesome kick-ass song! The opener to this is so awesome and beautiful! I didn't think Lacuna COil could get any better then Circel My Wings, or The Secret, but once I heard this song, I was completely blown away. Lacuna Coil always prove me wrong. |
Lacuna Coil – Circle Lyrics | 22 years ago |
"What is for? What is sacred? In my circle of regrets Circle of regrets" You're looking back on everything you regret, and wondering if there is anything good in your regrets. "Today I'm drawing circles In my memory, in the pages of my life" You're remembering all your regrets. "I need more All I want is to break My circle of regrets Circle of regrets" Everything you've done wrong is haunting you, and you want to forget everything bad you've done. That's the way I think this song is, and this song also rocks, of course, Lacuna Coil rock. |
Lacuna Coil – The Secret Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I think Acetica is right... But, anyway, this song is so freakin' awesome. This and Circle are my favorite Lacuna Coil songs. |
Nirvana – Come As You Are Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Well, I read that Cobain case, it looks pretty true, but then why is it, at the bottom of that note that Pre XC posted (the supposed suicide note, but CobainCase.com says it was a note telling everyone he was leaving the music business, it says: "Please keep going Courtney, for Frances. For her life, WHICH WILL BE SO MUCH HAPPIER WITHOUT ME" Why would Cobain say that if he was just leaving the music business? It wasn't like he was leaving them too, yet I read on the Cobain Case site that he was leaving Seattle or something. I'm confused though |
Nirvana – Come As You Are Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I'm speechless |
Tool – Disposition Lyrics | 22 years ago |
This opening melody of this is probably the most beautiful and greatest melody I have ever heard in my life. Even just hearing it makes me break down in to tears, even if it's just music. I feel rather feminate saying that, but I'm trying to be honest. The opener has so much power and sadness I have trouble listening to it because I'm afraid I may cry. The lyrics are simple, yet his voice is amazing... What do I think this song about? Well, let me break it down (like I do every song) OK, "Reflection" and "Disposition" go straight together. "Reflection" seems to be someone of a higher class or growing to another dimension of maturity as someone said I believe. "Mention this me Mention something Mention anything Watch the weather change." As a child, when you tell the child things and act a way around him, he will gains those traits. Like, you know that theory where if you play a certain type of a music around a newborn that he'll like that music when he grows up? It could be like that. You mention something to a child and act a certain way as he gains those traits and eventually grows up with those traits. "Watch the weather change" could me when you mention something to the child, he'll be affected by it someone, so he's telling his parents "Watch the weather change". "Reflection" could be about the older person, growing up and confused. As someone said up there (I forgot who it was), "Before I pine away" could be before he dies. "I have come curiously close to the end, down Beneath my self-indulgent pitiful hole, defeated I Concede and (Concede and) move closer (Move closer), I may find comfort here I may find peace within the emptiness, how pitiful It's calling me (Calling me) It's calling me (Calling me) It's calling me (Calling me) It's calling me" From "Reflection", this could be someone waiting for his death, as death calls him. "I have come curiously close to end" seems to give that away, "I may find peace within emptiness" also. "It's source is bright and endless, she resuscitates the hopeless Without her we are lifeless satellites dreamin' dreams And as I pull my head out, I am without one doubt, don't want to be down here soothing my narcissism, I Must crucify the ego before it's far too late, I pray the light lifts me out" Same as the other one. He's just waiting to die. The rest of the song seems to have that same meaning to, ending off in "Before we pine away." I do believe I could be overthinking the whole thing, and "Dispositon" could just be the obvious answer. I'm just trying to connect "Reflection" and "Disposition". I may be wrong, but the conclusion stands: "Disposition" is a BEAUTIFUL song, the most beautiful melodies of all time in my opinion. The opening melody makes me melt. |
Incubus – The Warmth Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Oh my god, this song is beautiful. Probably my favorite. The acoustic version is better, except he should have more emotion in the chorus. It's obvious what it's about... "I'd like to close my eyes and go numb But there is a cold wind coming from the top of the higher high rise today It's not a breeze 'cause it blows hard And yes it wants me to discard The humanity I know Watch the warmth blow away" He wants to go numb and feel no pain when someone hurts him, but the "cold breeze" is the anger the "top of the highest high rise" give. The top of the highest high rise is the toughest people of society. It's "not a breeze" of anger people it's very morbid, and the anger wants to make you "discard the humanity you know", like commit suicide or change your personality. "Watch the warmth blow away" means watch the happiness you have go away. "Don't let the wolrd bring you down Not everyone here is that fucked up and cold Remember why you came and while you're alive Expierience the warmth before you grow old" Self explanitory. He's saying don't the mean people of the world bring you down, and that not everyone is mean and selfish. "Remember why came" means remember youu're on Earth for a reason. "And while you're alive...Expierience the warmth before you grow old". It means enjoy for what it is before you die. "Do you think I should adhere to that pressing new frontier? And leave in my wake a trail of fear Or should I hold my head up high and throw a wrench in spokes by leaving the air behind me clear?" "Do you think I should adhere to that pressing new frontier?" means should he follow the path through life. "...And leave in my wake a trail of fear?" means that he would scare some people about the world's humanity. "Or should I hold my head up high, throw a wrench in spokes by leaving the air behind me clear?" means shbould he stop and not be affected by people in the world by keeping his personality the same. If he kept the air behind him clear, he wouldn't have anyone trying to take his personality way. Remember, there is one you. In conclusion, this song is so beautiful and great. This is my meaning to it, and you may disagree... |
Boy Hits Car – Clear Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I'm not really sure, but I think it's about how in a relationship and friendship with someone, they believe he always thinks wrong and that he never thinks right. He says "Take my mind now, So I can be clear" where if you take his opinion away, there is no right, there is no wrong: There is nothing, so it is clear. That's how I interpret it, and it's a cool song. |
The Rabbit Joint – Legend Of Zelda Lyrics | 22 years ago |
"Shavo was on Loveline, it's a radio program with tons of popular artists on it. A caller asked if that was them on that track and he said that they DID NOT make the song "Legend Of Zelda" or whatever it's called. [sent in by site visitor Justin from Illinois] And 'TheMysticalOne' just sent me an e-mail with the name of the artists who have done 'Legend of Zelda', their name: Rabbit Joint" I got this from www.SystemOfADownOnline.com. Just go there, look under lyrics and click Legend Of Zelda. |
Red Hot Chili Peppers – I Could Have Lied Lyrics | 22 years ago |
It's about him going out with an Irish actress superstar (I can't remember her name) and one day, she left him a note, saying goodbye and that she was leaving town. I think before that, he told her the truth about something, and and she left him. He could of lied and everything would've been fine. By the way, the guitar riff at about 2:00 is one of the most awesome guitar riffs I have ever heard. |
System of a Down – Spiders Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Well, my friend told me this because he said it was on MTV2 in Britain..."Inside The Music: System Of A Down". And, I thought he was joking me at first, but he meant it very seriously, so, this could be actually solution to this mystery, and it doesn't even seem like it, but the video may tie it all in. OK. It was told to me, by him, it was about how spiders crawl into your mouth at night and stay there while you sleep, and eventually, you inhale and bam, the spider is eaten. Many people do this in their lifetime. This is how I tied it up: "The piercing radiant moon The storming of poor June" - Spiders come inside when it storms, and it storms in June sometimes (although I think they made that to rhyme). So, when the moons out and it rains, usually spiders come in. "Dreams are made winding through my head Through my head Before you know you're awake" - Basically just means spiders come in and they go into your mouth "before you know you're awake". "Your lives are open wide The VChip gives them sight" - It means that we're exposed to eating spiders, and arachnophobia (VChip) can cause us be frightened by them even more. "Dreams are made winding through my head Dreams are made winding through her hair" - Spiders are made to crush our how vulnerable we are. Humans are scared of many things, and being scared of spiders makes us even more vulnerable for a challenge, so he may be saying they deserve to scare us. I think there is way more to it, and this is a kickass song, but this is what was on the show... |
