The Replacements – I'll Be You Lyrics 19 years ago
I wish I was in a band that was half as good as the Replacements. The fact that they are so unknown tells you alot about mainstream music.

The Replacements – Can't Hardly Wait Lyrics 19 years ago
There is another version on the 2nd disk oif the All For Nothing compilation. It has Bob Stinson on it and different lyrics. It pretty much blows the original away (Which is saying alot considering how the original was arguebly among the bands best songs)

The Replacements – Left Of The Dial Lyrics 19 years ago
"Left of the Dial" is a reference to college radio at the time if any of you don't get the reference. On the old radio format the stations on the left side of stations were normally the college radio stations and so forth.

Iron Maiden – Sign of the Cross Lyrics 20 years ago
The song is about the Inquisition. You know, when the Catholic church tortured and murdered a ton of "heretics."

Iron Maiden – Powerslave Lyrics 20 years ago
It is completely about a Pharoh. Infact, it's suppose to be related to Revelations (THe song) somehow

Iron Maiden – Moonchild Lyrics 20 years ago
The whole album is in reference to the book "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" by Orson Scott Card. Though I read some places that say only 5-8 tracks are part of the concept, the connections between this song and the book are PERFECT.

Iron Maiden – 22 Acacia Avenue Lyrics 20 years ago
It's the sequal to "Charlote the Harlet" song from the self titled debut. It's obvisouly about a hooker who cannot escape the profression

Eminem – Sing For The Moment Lyrics 21 years ago
Good lyrics, though I hate it when people take old songs and completely change it around.

Which BoA is this artist suppose to be? The Kpop singer or group?

Guns N' Roses – Knockin' on Heaven's Door Lyrics 21 years ago
The lyrics are the same as Bob Dylan's version (Minus the phone thing), that song had nothing to do with drugs.

Guns N' Roses – Knockin' on Heaven's Door Lyrics 21 years ago
This isn't about drugs. Its the exact same lyrics as Bob Dylan's classic song which talked about a death of a soldier.

Hide – Pink Spider (Feat. Spread Beaver) Lyrics 21 years ago
I read somewhere that this song is considered by some as Hide's suicide note pretty much.

X Japan – Forever Love Lyrics 21 years ago
The X movie wasn't very good. This was one of the bright spots of that movie. It completely fitted the ending and gave a scene a big emotional impact.

I love this song. One of the things I love about it is that it isn't just about loving a gf or wife, but the lyrics can be used for anyone you love.

X Japan – Tears Lyrics 21 years ago
This is easily my faveriot X-Japan song. This song was written in dedication to Yoshiki's father who comitted suicide when he was 10. My father also comitted suicide when I was young. There are times when hearing this song brings tears to my eyes.
