It's obviously about drugs, there's lyrics missing. Right before the 2nd verse before he starts over he says: shoot up, shoot up, shoot up, you're high.(love and hate get it wrong she cut me right back down to size) love and hate relationship with drugs, and how it wins. (Sleep the day, let it fade.who was there to take your place) sleeping the withdraws away, nothing is worth doing without the drug. (No one knows, never will.mostly me but mostly you) a non addict will never understand, that it's now more about the drug then himself.(what do u say, do u do, when it all comes down) when you're dope sick. (I don't wanna come back down from this cloud it's taken me all this time to find out what I need) feels like he's finally found happiness. (There is no Blame only shame when u beg u just complain) can't blame no one for your addiction, ashamed of it.when u beg cause u need it, u feel like youre weak and people see u as complaining. (The more I come, the more I try.all police are paranoid) the more I come down the more I'll do to get back up, anything even illegal stuff. (So am i, so's the future, so are u, be a creature) he doesn't know what he might do either, and has no idea what the future holds and neither does his loved ones, he's becoming like a non-human, a creature (what do u say, do u do, when it all comes down) he's asking, what do u do. Basically there's nothing he won't do to keep that high anymore. I may have been able to see it as a stalkerish love song because of the movie it played in "fear", perhaps comparing love to a drug. But the shoot up you're high (which isn't mentioned above but is part of the lyrics) just has me thinking it's about drug's |

When he asks why have you forsaken me he doesn't literally mean forgot him or no longer had his back. God was pissed at them for killing his son and u know what God did to man when he was pissed b4 he sent Jesus to die for our sins. Which is why Jesus says god forgive them for they know not what they do. When he says why have u forsaken Me it's because God had always spoken to him and filled him with the holly spirit to do his works but when he was being killed god got both angry and sad. The sky turned black. He didn't wish to watch his son die cause it angered him and caused him grieve. However Jesus felt it when he took away his presence and he was asking where did you go? Jesus was usually filled with the holy spirit not now so it was given back to his father's hands. Now in the song it seems like Jesus is saying where are you when I need u most was any of it real or is this basically suicide. And why should I have to cry when angels -like Satan -Deserve to die |

I think she's talking to god, her father. She's talking about being baptized under the water. She asks am I your daughter take me back and see. -like she was once saved before and left god and she's asking him to take her back and see if she's still worthy . Then she says there's no time for being younger- god calls all of us his children, she doesn't feel lk a child has grown bitter cause of life ,friends bein enemies. Then she says and if I cried unto my mother no she wasn't there for me- mother Mary.- she's saying she doesn't answer her prayers or hear her cries don't let the water drag you down. - she wants to go back to feeling she is a child of God and that her cries are heard but feels instead like they're not and instead of it being a good experience it's dragging her down cause she has no faith. Broken lines across my mirror, show my face all red and bruised- I think is a metaphor for throwing a fit. Breaking , smashing the mirror. Hitting herself in the face, screaming it's all red. She keeps screaming no one came running to save her. - she feels forsaken by God She says I could be found. I could be what you had saved. - I once was lost now I am found -she's saying she could still be found if he's looking. And God saves. - she's saying she could be what he had saved. -She says it lk she has no hope of it happening though.but at the end she still prayers for the calmness of being gods child again, hoping it was a dream that she ever wasn't and she wakes up free from her child - her bindings |
