Flobots – Handlebars Lyrics 8 years ago
I think this song taps into the illuminati archetype and rich and famous people controlling the world. At the beginning, they mention that it's good to be alive and he's a famous rapper (take for instance Jay-Z or Eminem's rags-to-riches and going from being happy to be alive to obscene wealth). Later backed up with "I can keep rhythm with no metronome" and rap typically being off beat. This is followed by an illuminati stereotype of him getting this ultimate power from his music and getting the ability to spy on you through your phone like conspiracy theorists say the nsa do "I can see your face on a telephone" Later, he's sitting curled up in his house with crazy political power and influence and obscene wealth. Next, he can lead the nation with a microphone. All he needs to do is get the attention of the people by spittin bars and he's leading the country better than the president. Next, his music has given him so much power that he can pretty much do anything and can pretty much bribe anyone who opposes. At the end, it goes back to handlebars, which reflects back to his dreams that led him to the ultimate power he possesses now.

Gorillaz – Feel Good Inc. Lyrics 8 years ago
I know that the video doesnt support this here, but I could see it being about prostitution. They would be called feel good inc bc what they sell. Also the rapping represents the view of the pimp, and the singing would be from the view from someone who chose to life this life and is stuck between accepting his (her) life and trying to escape.

"City's breaking down...don't know when"
The camel's back represents what carries this gotham-like city thorugh hardships, as camels once did and still do. And "they in the second line would be the camels not knowing when to get water (since camels are knwon for being healthy for a long time without water, and so they let the camel supposedly drink out of an oasis, which somehow re-energizes the falling city in this new form of making money.

"Fill the streets...bad and free"
This is the pimp telling the hookers to fill the streets, since that's how the money is made, and he is also telling them to not run away, because they get to be bad (or naughty to put in perspective) and rather free while at work

"New horizon...no sleep"
This pretty much explains that the town is run down and the pimp had dreams of making it great again and turned to this form of money-making and keeping certain townsfolk happy.

"Windmill windmill... falling down"
Here is the perspective of the hooker.
(S)he is looking for a reason that she has chosen this life, and saying that the windmill keeps turning as time keeps passing and that this is the jam that she has gotten herself into.

"Love forever...everybody in"
Now she's saying that it shouldn't be this way and obvioulsy wants to just run away with this one guy (probably a customer), but then remembers the windmill and sadly knows this is her life, so she asks if everybody is in, everybody being some customers.
The "love is free" line is very important cos this is her saying that anything like this should not have money involved.

"Laughing gas...at the track"
This could point to human trafficking, as they are stunning victims and then lining them up, but this could just be the inc making sure everybody stays in line. Ladies are obviously the service provided and telling them to be at the track (as on a running track getting ready to run) as to say that they're about to go to their work.
I have no idea what chocolate attack means.

'Stepping in the heart...gravitatate"
Is the pimp knowing that he's created an empire

"Ghost town...kill the inc"
He realizes what he's doing is wrong, but he remembers that he is supposedy saving the city so he tells his employees to pretty much deal with it and not kill the inc, and therefore kill the city

"Don't stop...navigate"
No freakin idea

The Killers – Mr. Brightside Lyrics 8 years ago
This song is actually very relatable to me despite the fact that I'm in high school

Anyway, I see it as the singer fell in love with this girl who then started dating this other boy and witnessed the two kissing (it was only a kiss how did it end up like this)
Then he began to imagine the relationship becoming sexual (it's all in my head) and now can't stand to see his crush with another man
