this is about an obsessive young fellow called fuckin' Eddie Dingle and his unrequited love for a girl called Nan. Nan appears to be either completely oblivious to the one-sided romance, or sick of Eddie's bullshit, and ends up going for a casual stroll down the street with Danny. This leads to a very jealous fuckin' Eddie Dingle losing a piece of his already fragile soul and saying he doesn't need Nan in his life anymore. But we all know he's still thirsty AF. A very impassioned piece about pent up sexual frustration and subsequent rage. The wailing guitars and overall musical energy of this track sets perfect mood of this poignant coming of age masterpiece. |

@[pezdel:1347] This is a great interpretation, I was thinking of using this at my wedding but after reading your analysis and not disagreeing with anything you said made me realise how naive I was. Yeah probably not the best song for a first dance! |
