| I know that this song is NOT about the KKK. But the people that are saying that if it had been about the KKK it would have been called the "Klansman" are forgetting about the Thomas F. Dixon Jr book The Clansman that was turned in to a film called "The Birth of a Nation". The book and film were very instrumental in the revival of the KKK in the early part of the 1900s. | |

| Most of this song is fairly clear, but you did a great job with a few lines that I didn't quite get. One of them is the "church bells" line. I thought he was saying something along the lines that people that are easy to please are still in relationships and getting married (ringing church bells), but I think your interpretation may be correct. | |
