Emilie Autumn – Gothic Lolita Lyrics | 7 years ago |
saying "you never did anything any man wouldn't do" is an unfair but perfectly understandable mentality given the whole theme and backstory to this song. Child abuse must be damn scarring like almost nothing else in the world |
Globus – Europa Lyrics | 8 years ago |
well, historically europe wasa very religious country. The "heaven help us in all our battles" bit may not reflect the band's own ideology, it could just be something that would actually be said by europeans in a time of war, especially in the good ol' days. The same could be said about the rest of the lyrics really, but I admit it's hard to tell |
John Vanderslice – Too Much Time Lyrics | 9 years ago |
here are more accurate lyrics: Woke up on the sand I tied up my sleeping bag The jetty won't last forever Waves, they tumble and tumble Stone by stone I ended here all alone And brick by brick I walled myself from happiness And eucalyptus piled high I'm shivering by a flaming fire Too much time Too much time gone by and I can't find you if I tried Too much time Too much time gone by and I can't find you if I tried Rolled up my map I've got no obligations Packed up my pots and pans Freedom is overrated Stone by stone I left my only home And brick by brick Walled myself from happiness And dead fur and almond-wood A storm crosses over Mt. Hood I've got too much time Too much time gone by and I can't find you if I tried Too much time Too much time gone by and I can't find you if I tried |
