I feel like this song is about transgender people, although I may be the only one that thinks this since I am trans myself. When I first heard this song I thought about how transgender people are trapped in their body and its almost like a cage, and their mind holds the key, or the image of what they think they were born to look like, the opposite sex from which they were born. and since they are transgender, they are looked at differently and the one they love doesn't love them since they are different and outcasted by society. |
