It's a guy offering her drugs. You know I am a liar You know I am a liar Nobody helps a liar -- Did she say friends? She meant herself. That's why she's a liar. -- The next stanzas are a recollection of that experience. It's a story about jumping into a relationship because she's lonely. They try to keep the relationship 'fire' going by doing drugs together.
