The Birthday Massacre – Divide Lyrics | 9 years ago |
I can't believe nobody has commented on any of the new songs from Superstition.... TBM is like one of, if not THE, best goth bands there is, PERIOD and NOONE has anything to write?? Anyway, this one is a little confusing to be honest, because the name is Divide, but the word is not in the lyrics anywhere. Despite that there is some undeniable imagery here, specifically the reference to Graeae, the mythological sisters who share an eye being stolen, but I am finding it somewhat difficult to follow the lyrics anywhere here.... In any case, the song JAMZ, and the album JAMZ, and they deserve some attention for yet another superb release!! |

Let me restate this correct: I admit I want shortened breaths I like dark eyelids Bang.... Those are nice breasts Like the Summerrrr into rough hands Is what it actually sounds like, but I would not guess a meaning, as it sounds like gibberish really. I mean, I can feel it, I am goth as me, and also Love dark eyelids, but shortened breaths?? LOST on that.... |

Also, I am* listening.... :P |
Crystal Castles – Crimewave Lyrics | 9 years ago |
I am getting: I admit I want shortened breaths and love dark eyelids bang.... those are nice breasts Like the summer into rough hands Also, I ma listening to the song loud right now on my headphones, and that is what I hear.... |
U2 – Every Breaking Wave Lyrics | 9 years ago |
*holding on for this long* What I am saying is, I know they CAN play it, I saw them in Florida, and they were HOT.... Like I said though, EVERY TIME I have seen this song being done live, it is like Bono decided to completely replace the entire course with something else, but the chorus is the meat of the song, so that kind of ruins it for me is all. |
U2 – Every Breaking Wave Lyrics | 9 years ago |
I love this song too.... More so than any others on the new album, but the only videos I can find anywhere online for this song are live footage and that I DON'T love. Mainly because every time he comes to the course, he changes it to some stupid interpretation of it, talking about how he doesn't know if he is that strong. I really HATE it when bands take nearly perfect songs, and try to reinvent them live, but end up ruining the tune. Anyways, PROPS to U2 for holding on for this lng, and still putting out good music!! |
Uffie – ADD SUV Lyrics | 11 years ago |
I think that mother's little helpers is referring to Valium. As was sang in the Rolling Stones song of the same name. Housewives, and stay-at-home mothers used to use Valium pills to help them through their days!! |
Atmosphere – Trying To Find A Balance Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I would guess he is talking about a woman he wants to meet, and she is in Cali.... |
Atmosphere – Trying To Find A Balance Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Why would he wanna move back and forth between a god, and a leper?? |
Atmosphere – Trying To Find A Balance Lyrics | 12 years ago |
But that does not properly rhyme with the next line which ends with self-defense, and I have not been able to clearly hear the cks sound at the end of it TBH!! It could be, as another comment said instinct and scents as referring to animals, which jives with pets too.... |
Atmosphere – Trying To Find A Balance Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I thought it was just a ghost trying to catch Mrs. Pac man.... Also, I will throw in my piece on this contradictive thing, it is NOT a real word, ther is no adjective contradictive that I have ever heard of, and the line is as sick and contradicted as this!! |
Atmosphere – Trying To Find A Balance Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I believe it IS sense, not sex.... Mainly because the follow up line finishes with self-defense, which rhymes better with sense than sex, but I could be wrong there just a thought!! |
