We are all caught in this web and sometimes I wonder if most will ever wake up to realize it. lol...How ironic...Because most of you think you're awake lol...Anyways, this song is beautiful and speaks nothing of a human relationship but more of a spiritual relationship...( oh no I see, a spiderweb it's tangled up with me, and I lost my head). Here we go - He's cleary saying that we are just an illusion to ourselves and God is the only thing thats real. He's telling how everything we say and feel isn't even real but just a form of a virtual imitation like a computer program. We are the ones living in the software program while God is the controller of the game playing it. Besides, everything that we precieve that's real is nothing more than an electrical impulse, from seeing to hearing and feeling. All are just electrical impulses. So ask yourself, how real would you feel or seem if you realized that all things that exist are only electrical impulses that are within your "mind"? Keep picking at the scab and you will find out what's really lying beneath and the questions you pose might hand you answers you may not be able to handle is what he's saying. Imagine finding out that all that you are is an illusion? All of the laws of reality can be broken just like a computer program hence, since this world is nothing but a 3 dimensional video game then how human would you feel? REally think about it, the only reason you see these words on the screen is because there is an electrical impulse that is telling your mind that this is an i or an e or and f. Get it? We are frequencies and vibrations is what the video speaks. Very much like a tune or sound we are just pieces to a composition like a musical. He's saying that whoever god is, he is in control of the editing program of life and it seems that he is upset at God maybe for letting bad things occur in what he is in charge of and the sadness of Trent feeling heartbroken by the truth and emptiness of realities hidden secrets..Very artistic and amazing song and video. Awesome to say the least. Please give it all of the respect it deserves... |

I believe they are talking about astrology..Your house is a position that a group of people belong to in astrology according to the date they were born. It would make sense especially when you look at the part that says brothers got a date to keep. The talk about dreamers, dreams, the house having a crowd, the people's different characteristics and etc show that it is very artistic, meaningful, symbolic and related to terms of astrology. This song is very unique and stylish. I give it two thumbs up and its always been a clever and awesome catchy 80's hit from the United Kingdoms pop culture movement era. I believe the 80's contained our best decade. |

Honestly,,this song is about her finding God.
She once had him but now she is doing everything in her power to gain him back.
the world has taught her certain things that are hard to cope with and now she knows that God is the only true answer...what a beautiful song...the b 52's are Real artists...my favorite part: her heads in a whirlpool,,spinning round and round,,if she don't get her man back,,then she's gonna drown.
