A "bad romance" is a romance where its all fun and games and fairytales at first and ends up a horror movie. Have you seen fatal attraction? She wants this guy and the bad romance that comes with him, to her he is worth it. She cant stand to be friends. Its kinda profound and makes total sense, even more sense with the video. She even chokes up when screaming I dont wanna be friends. Havent you ever wanted someone you cant have so bad that the drama might be worth it? This song and very few others of gagas is a bit more than your average "pop" song

I believe this song is narrated by a parent or guardian type with the verse "when she was young we'd ask her what shed like to be and shed close her eyes and dream" she dreamed of living a different life her whole life the parent guardian has to witness the choices she makes,(troubled guy, drugs, enemies)idk makes sense to me |
