i think this song is a struggle of drug addiction. when it says i am holding on still holding on. i think it means he is just struggling to get through. black dead lies is something you do when you are an addict. and one of the more telling lines in dialted eyes shine for one last time. anyone who has done a hard drug knows you love your love when your on the drug but once its done you hate your life. You're not like me Your faceless lies Your weak dead heart Your black dead eyes i think this is describing his comedown and realizing everything he has fucked up while on the drug.
