Nirvana – Something in the Way Lyrics 11 years ago
We're already connected as human beings to everything around us (the bridge). Our sense of ownership or "whats mine" disturbs what is. "The tarp begins to leak" to me illustrates how whatever rule or law we create, shall not compensate for the bridge that is already in place. In a way there is something about the way we exist that contradicts everything around us.

TV on the Radio – Shout Me Out Lyrics 13 years ago
I think this song is about this persons spirit feeling drained and wanting God to "shout him out to show that he's even still with him. I also think the freeze that he speaks of is almost symbolic of a flow of love thats not being shown.

TV on the Radio – Love Dog Lyrics 13 years ago
Ahh.. I think that is exactly what it's about, thanks. I've been trying to figure it out since I had first heard this. I mean it may sound silly but if you simply reverse the word dog you would get God and it's almost like he needs you as much as you need him, similar to a dog.

TV on the Radio – Family Tree Lyrics 13 years ago
I mos def get the same vibe from this song and the use of the gallows does seem to imply the reason for this love being forbidden to be racism.

TV on the Radio – Golden Age Lyrics 13 years ago
I think this song is about a time that is coming in which people wake up and realize who they really are and what really matters in life.

TV on the Radio – Dancing Choose Lyrics 13 years ago
I think this song pretty much sums up the crab in bucket idea in which this man is so consumed with self that he doesn't realize he's hurting people by spreading this propaganda for someone elses plan in his own quest for more material gain.

TV on the Radio – DLZ Lyrics 13 years ago
Yeah, I definitely agree that this song is referring to the corruption, more specifically of religion, in the world today. The lyrics about the foundation being rusted through oxidation and the victim flying so high for a birds eye view of the next. The only thing I don't understand is the title of the song. DLZ?

Raphael Saadiq – Big Easy (feat. The Infamous Young Spodie & The Rebirth Brass Band) Lyrics 13 years ago
I think this song is about someone who has lost their daughter during the hurricane Katrina tragedy, hence the lyrics about the levees breaking and body floating in the river.
