| This song means a lot to me because ever since I was a little girl, I have been falling for and idolizing celebrities in what many would probably consider unhealthy ways, but to me, I always felt that these crushes I had were so pure and true. And today I connect to this song in the way that I have fallen in love with a professor of mine. Though I adore everything I know about her, I realize that I only know one side of her, the side that she presents in class, and this makes her very similar to a celebrity. I realize that I have somewhat fallen in love with only the version of her that exists "in my head" and I do wonder if her soul is "nearly as beautiful as I believe." | |
