10 Years – The Recipe Lyrics | 11 years ago |
"The less we think And more we drink Our actions are casual" These lines first made me think it was about lust and not having serious relationships. Obviously alcohol (the more we drink) causes people to make decisions they wouldn't normally make, and they don't think about the consequences of what they're doing (the less we think.) And casual... Well, casual sex. |
10 Years – Waking Up Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Songs can be about whatever you want them to be about. I used to think it was silly how everybody instantly thinks a song is about a relationship or drugs, but now that I've been through a pretty crazy and intense relationship, I seem to find a way to apply every song to that situation. |
36 Crazyfists – The Deserter Lyrics | 11 years ago |
For me, this song is about being hopeful and being confident in yourself. It's about telling yourself that you can do whatever you want. You can "escape darkness," darkness being any negative factor in your life. If your stuck in a rut, you can get out of it, but you have to believe that you can. You can't just expect your life to change, you have to do something to change it. The line "Hope builds change" really stands out to me. I think the title could mean the person is deserting all of the negative things in their life. |
All That Remains – Believe in Nothing (Nevermore cover) Lyrics | 11 years ago |
I just listened to the original version of this song, by Nevermore, it's so much better! |
Godsmack – Bad Religion Lyrics | 11 years ago |
You spelled it right, but Jerusalem is a city... |
Lamb of God – Reclamation Lyrics | 11 years ago |
The liner notes of the CD would beg to differ. |
Spineshank – Beginning Of The End Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Because Silent Civilian is amazing |
Machine Head – Vim Lyrics | 11 years ago |
I think it has a similar meaning to Imperium. You have the power to change your own life and you can make a choice to be happy. You can be yourself and ignore the people who tell you what to do or bring you down. |
Machine Head – Descend The Shades Of Night Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Yes! |
Nonpoint – Buscandome Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Wanna explain then? |
Soil – Redefine Lyrics | 11 years ago |
These are the lyrics for an Incubus song, not the Soil song... |
Godsmack – Vampires Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Everybody is taking this song so literally. I like what darkfox89 said. Except I'm not sure if by "bitches" he meant women, or people like politicians and celebrities. Personally I think it's about the latter. "What explains our enduring fascination with vampires?" Vampires could represent celebrities, especially the people on reality TV shows. Why are people obsessed with them? They haven't done anything great in their lives. They're just morons who get paid ridiculous amounts of money for essentially brainwashing the general populace. Read the lyrics to "Burn, Hollywood, Burn" by Exodus to see what I mean. |
Pantera – Heresy Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Wrong. SOAD sounds like the intro of this song. Pantera came first. |
Pantera – Regular People (Conceit) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
What |
Lamb of God – In Your Words Lyrics | 12 years ago |
What else could you want? How about clean vocals. |
Fu Manchu – Squash That Fly Lyrics | 12 years ago |
So whats it about |
Machine Head – Be Still And Know Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Wasn't too sure what this one was about until I heard this part of the song: "Stars realign in the sky Glaciers will melt and the oceans rise Waves will come crashing ashore But withstand the roar" I think it could be about the apocalypse, not the end of the world but possibly the end of the world as we know it. The chorus means that there will be crazy shit going on but humanity will survive. "We are all in this together Weather the storm" This part means that it will happen and everybody, even counties that are at war with each other, will have to help each other in order to survive. This is just my opinion though. |
Machine Head – Locust Lyrics | 12 years ago |
You could just buy the CD. Then you'd know what the lyrics are... |
Machine Head – This Is The End Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Possibly about how lots of people were expecting this album to be as high of a standard as The Blackening. "And I don't care about last year Won't be afraid of what the future holds can't fear Want not the past and the safety it brings It doesn't mean anything We've come too far There's no going back now" |
Times of Grace – Hymn of a Broken Man Lyrics | 12 years ago |
All of you have the lyrics wrong. I have the liner notes from the CD right here so don't even argue with me. Here's the lyrics: Fallen Fell to the depths of your regrets And now there's nothing left, but apathy Blinded by pride, torn on the inside Count the cost of your arrogance Words pass through deafened ears Now your broken wings mirror your self-regret Why do we live so blind? Like a fallen angel's eyes Torn inside This is the hymn of a broken man Fallen Cast down from blessedness Now there's nothing left Nothing but apathy Why do we live so blind? Like a fallen angel's eyes Torn inside This is the hymn of a broken man God save you God save your soul Torn inside This is the hymn of a broken man If you could only see the truth For pride has blinded you Feel with your heart Disregard has killed you Once again Why do we live so blind? Like a fallen angel's eyes Cast aside This is the hymn of a broken man God save your soul God save us all Now somebody please make this the actual lyrics! |
Death Angel – Sonic Beatdown Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Amazing song gets me so pumped. |
Soil – The Last Chance Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I'm not sure what this is about. aperfecttooljam291, I'm not saying you're wrong, but not every song is about drugs. Anyways this is a very emotional song in my opinion. When he sings "this is the last chance" it sounds so powerful. Gets me pumped. \m/ |
Megadeth – Family Tree Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Seriously, when are people going to stop comparing Megadeth to Metallica? |
AC/DC – Back In Black Lyrics | 14 years ago |
suede67 is right. And Bon Scott was supposed to be singing on it, I'm not sure how much of it was actually written when he died though. But the band decided to find another singer and keep going, because they knew Bon would've wanted them to continue. |
AC/DC – Back In Black Lyrics | 14 years ago |
ClassicRockBaby you are a f***ing retard and a disgrace to AC/DC. His name was BON SCOTT and he was on of the BEST SINGERS EVER. |
