U2 – Where The Streets Have No Name Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I know this song was written in 1987, but it has alot of similarities to 9/11. Just pointing it out. |
Tool – (-) Ions Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I think this song is the aftermath of "AEnema" (the song) and the peace and serenity it would bring after the destruction of Los Angeles. |
Neurosis – The Eye Of Every Storm Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I think this song is about depression and the urge to suicide...but realizing that you can fight through it with the power of determination and striving to live as a human being. "I am low to the ground again" = depression. "I have the future bearing on down" = the fact that you're future is ahead of you, and if you kill yourself, your future is erased. You cannot let that happen, so you "run with the starlight to the end" = determination and will to live as a human and the idea that the depression and suicidal urges will fade within time. |
Khanate – Commuted Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Sounds to me like it's about stabbing somebody to death. |
Reverend Bizarre – Cirith Ungol Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Oi, I have since found that out. I guess I fail, then XD |
Justin Bieber – One Less Lonely Girl Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Sounds like a Khanate song. |
Electric Wizard – Eko Eko Azarak: I. Invocation II. Ritual Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Sounds to me like an apocalypse on mars. But I put my money that it's Lovecratian in some way. |
Slayer – Raining Blood Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Then dont listen to it asshole. |
Melvins – The Bit Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Since it's the freaking MELVINS we're talking about, chances are even they didn't know what they were writing about XD |
Melvins – The Bit Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Wrong lyrics: "I'm not even sound raid!" and "I'm stomping...your little" |
Khanate – Dead Lyrics | 12 years ago |
At first glance it may sound like it's talking about a ghost, but I think it's using a ghost as a metaphor for someone who was forgotten completely - nobody knows him and never will. He's like a ghost. |
Electric Wizard – Funeralopolis Lyrics | 12 years ago |

Justin Bieber – Baby Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Those lyrics are wrong, dammit: I bind unto myself today the strong name of the trinity Crypt of despair the old man is there forming a circle of magic and prayers Guarding the well the black hole to hell its evil must never arise I can tell Holy mission forever he's sworn to protect our world from hatred and scorn He will not fear though the Sabbath is near twelve strokes for Candlemass darkness descends [Chorus] "Break the circle and all hell comes loose the well of souls must stay sealed Ancient force of light against the dark the well of souls must stay sealed" Black wind turns out the candles the air grows cold and threatening Dark shadows wicked laughter brings darkness to your heart Behold the goat of Mendes red burning evil eyes Lord's prayer holy water only faith can save you now Disharmony, satanic serenade Black symphony, a tribute to the plague The twisted souls awakened by the chanting Unchained at last, rise, they will now rise A new day's dawn, holy light Sunlight redeems slays the dark, warms and heals, makes you see nightmares' terror is back in your dreams Sleep well my friend 'cause this tale's now to end, don't believe our world is as safe's we pretend [Chorus] "Break the circle and all hell comes loose the well of souls must stay sealed Ancient force of light against the dark the well of souls must stay sealed" |
Justin Bieber – Baby Lyrics | 12 years ago |
@beautyoftherain If you think all the songs in the world are about love, you are a sheep. Plain and simple. |
Justin Bieber – One Time Lyrics | 12 years ago |
HA HA HA! I don't mean to laugh at that kind of stuff, but that was a great example of how bad this song is. Is that a Cannibal Corpse song? |
Rebecca Black – My Moment Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Awesome doom metal track. 7:50, nice Blackness. It's even better than the last single. That solo at 4:02...Candlemass would be proud!! |
Rebecca Black – Friday Lyrics | 12 years ago |
This is about a satanic cult. Awesome track, one of the best doom metal songs I've ever heard and this Blackness band is defenitely looking very promising, though I wish the song was a little longer (doom metal songs should be long). But still, great song, Reverend Bizarre and Candlemass would be proud \m/ |
Reverend Bizarre – Doom Over The World Lyrics | 12 years ago |
It's pretty obvious, really. During a fictional medeival era, an angel comes to a man and tells him of a gigantic war soon to come. Adventeruous and awesome song if you ask me. |
Khanate – Skin Coat Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Hmmmm...I take back what I said about Pieces of Quiet. The killer enjoys the action and wishes to do more, which leads into Skincoat... |
Khanate – Skin Coat Lyrics | 12 years ago |
As strange as it sounds, I think this is a concept album. Pieces of Queit: A killer's first kill. Near the end of the song the killer feels guilt for his actions. Skincoat: The killer's next kill. In this song the killer realizes he is going insane. Torching Koroviev: The killer's inner thoughts and personality. Under Rotting Sky: The killer's terrible realization that he is completely insane. No Joy: The killer eventually loses all hope and has become a brainless, mindless killing machine no one can stop... |
Khanate – No Joy Lyrics | 12 years ago |
He does sound like Golem a bit lol. But anyway, I think this is about a serial killer who has become so insane that he has become almost completely devoid of emotion. Hence "No joy, only eat." The killer has pushed the boundaries of mad and has become nothing but a mindless, functionless killing machine, and he will stop at nothing. |
Mouth of the Architect – No One Wished to Settle Here Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Sounds like a country with beyond crappy government. |
Tool – Crawl Away Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Definetely about an abusive relationship. One half of the relationship is trying to abandon his/her love, while the other is obsessive and wants to keep the man/woman for themselve, even if it delves into violent measures. |
Black Sabbath – War Pigs Lyrics | 13 years ago |
2 comments in and I already see arguing. Wow. |
Sabbat – The Dwelling - The Melody of Death Mask Lyrics | 13 years ago |
One word: Apocalypse. Either that or the fantasy world of a deranged madman. I'm guessing the latter. |
Reverend Bizarre – Cirith Ungol Lyrics | 13 years ago |
This song seems to be about somebody, anybody, who is questing in an attempt at escaping from their sins. However, I believe this song has a deeper meaning - escaping sins and prejudice in general, especially in medieval times. If you look at the album cover, you will see a half-goat half-man in the middle of a crowd of normal people. You will see the people look as if they are cowering in fear of the goatman, most likely thinking he is a reancarnation of Satan. The goatman, on the other hand, seems to be trying to restore peace to the people for whatever reason. However, they do not listen because of their blindness to racism and prejudice. The song also makes many hidden references to the real Satan. The part Satan plays in this song is that he is manipulating the people into racism, a sin. The song is basically saying to forget about our differences and accept people for who they are. The line "We must face what we fear" wraps it up. My 2 cents. |
Dream Theater – A Change of Seasons Lyrics | 13 years ago |
This song is incredible...I haven't realized until now the message it conveys. This song is about embracing life, not hating it. It helps me alot. |
Tool – Flood Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think this song is about a guy getting totally wasted on drugs. He knows it's a bad influence and wants it to stop, but the "water" is urging him to keep taking the drug. At the end, he eventually succumbs to it's power, which "cleanses and purges" him in the "water". |
Tool – Third Eye Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I like this version better. |

Tool – Jimmy Lyrics | 13 years ago |
This album was released in the 90's. Dumbass. |
Rage Against the Machine – Bombtrack Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Agreed. I'm not a big fan of that concept either, which I'm learning about in school. And forget the stars, I think manifest destiny is a little arrogant in my eyes, but it depends on how you view it. |
Led Zeppelin – No Quarter Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think this song is about soldiers in the army. "Close the door, put out the light" Abandon hope, your loved ones wont be coming back from war. "You know they won't be home tonight" They're not coming back. Not tonight, not anytime soon - possibly never. "The snow falls hard and don't you know? The wings of Thor are blowing cold" I think "snow" represents the tears of a person. Crying for they're loved ones, trapped in the midst of a tremendous war. Not sure about the wings of Thor though. This is where the soldiers DO come home. "They're wearing steel that's bright and true, they carry news that must get through." In war, soldiers often where suits. Not steel, but Zeppelin is exaggerating. However, it may also be the spirit and pride they carry. They are carrying news about the war to there homelands, hoping they've been gone shortly enough to reunite with there close friends and families. "They choose the path where no-one goes. They hold no quarter." War is not often a persons dream in life, thus "no one goes". They hold nothing from the aftermath of the war. "Walking side by side with death, The devil mocks their every step The snow drives back the foot that's slow, The dogs of doom are howling more They carry news that must get through, To build a dream for me and you" The "Devil" has left them devastated from the war. Along the journey back home, the presence of the war mocks them. Hmmm...Not sure if this is what they were going for. Reply please, and kudos if you read this novel. |
Tool – Schism Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I support both the "Religion" and "Relationship" theories, but at the moment I'm leading towards the religious side. Why?? I basically agree with everything PhilosopherKing78 said. However, one thing that PKing did not emphasize on is that, in the old testament in the bible, God originally created all humans with one language and as they worked on a tower that would reach heaven, God was mad and changed all languages of the people participating in building the tower, so they could not continue to work to build the tower, as they failed to understand each other, thus "crippling our communication." |

Definitely about the Governments idiocy. |
Neurosis – Through Silver In Blood Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Don't crawl. Seek his burn of war. When the fallout comes he is FIRE. |
Justin Bieber – One Time Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Oh, and yes, this is a concept album, "One Time" being about a kid surviving the end, "Favorite Girl" being about remembrance of his dead Love life, "Down To Earth" being about 2 other survivors leading the main character to safety, "Bigger" a ballad about how the main character realizes he must grow through the tragedy, "One Less Lonely Girl", about the child's sadness and loss after the end, "First Dance" being the Climax of the Album, other two survivors die, "Love Me", child kills himself. Basically one big, fat, steaming, blatant ripoff of Neurosis' mighty "Through Silver And Blood" Album, but what did you expect. This mindless 15 year old sings pop music, the most generic musical genre out there. |

Wow, what a Jerk! I hope this Grim idiot WILL really Burn In Hell. He lives up to his Last Name... |
Spock's Beard – The Great Nothing Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Interesting Theory, lukescott. Sort of sounds like the concept of The Mars Volta's First Album "De-Loused In The Comatorium"... |
Opeth – The Funeral Portrait Lyrics | 13 years ago |

We have the right to express our opinions. And my opinon is that you're an idiot. ;) |
Brokencyde – 2 Drunk Lyrics | 13 years ago |
"Honestly I can say that I probably will play this for my kids sometime in the future too. Maybe it'll be considered a classic oldie or something. ^_^" Your going to let your kids listen to: "And make you lick my penis up and down, up and down..."? If so, you need to be arrested. No one should EVER expose their children to such offensive, sexual lyricism, unless you want to watch your child to suffer losing their virginity and getting pregnant at 12 years old, due to the lyrics inspiration. You, sir or madam, will be commiting a form of child-abuse. If your going to smudge your ears with this trash, it's away from your children. Heck, your children could become SEX ADDICTS from listening to this. |
