Here's my interpretation. Total opinion...
The main character that the song is about makes me think of someone whose in the music business (which from the ending part about praying to Sony) I'd guess would be about the singer, "Got your tape and it changed my mind Heard your voice in between the lines ." But for all we know its a tape a friend gave him of them singing ^_^ who knows... personally I like to think its about a couple and the female made a tape of her singing. He listens to it all the time in his car or wherever, "been living in your cassette" But it could also be about the female just singing to her man in his sleep ^_^ But probably not! Anyway great song its my favorite from Feeling strangely fine |

Love this song, the piano just pulls it off perfectly. Just think it's about losing someone over something stupid. But still being in love with them. Also talks about the downfalls of being friends after you break up with someone. Kickass song though =) SP FOREVER |

I agree with most of you, elliot was talking about himself through this song. He was also paranoid and felt someone was after him hence the

Getting in to the back of a car for candy from some stranger"
which he believed a white van was following him places. He had said something about believing dreamworks was after him. Saying someone might kidnap him or kill him. Often elliot didnt sleep too much hed often stay up nights in a row. |

pretty straight forward, its about a "pyro" burning down things, one could look at this in an emotional way meaning gonna burn down something in his mind, but i prefer to think its about an actual pyro. Hence the next like "and tell the kids im okay" seems to me as the "pyro" wasnt looking to live from burning whatever down. But it could also be in reference to suicide, some arsonists thought fire would be a perfect suicide. This song is obviously about losing onnoes faith, going through some bad things, physically or emotionally, "I wont ever be your cornerstone..." a cornerstone is basically the first brick in a structure that helps hold up the entire building " its technically the corner support, if that makes sense, and the cornerstone is generally the first thing constructed when building something. Its about a arsonist committing suicide, after losing someone probably the wife or woman, tell the kids im okay, and this site of be burning down whatever is gonna be a site to see, pyros enjoy watching whatever theyre burning down as do arsonists. Just my thought on this song, I do love it =) thanks. |

I always thought that bit was about someone shooting up a school or something, maybe someone addicted to drugs and feeling very "small" it seems like this persons trying to forget about the memories of good times he had, just wants to be depressed? And maybe shoots up a school hence the "everybody run bobbys got a gun" maybe the fire part is about an arsonist or something? I agree with everyone else, just a different thought =) great song |

great song, about drug use. I believe the poppy reference could either be comedic, as in poppy seeds, even though youd have to take a large amount, but the high is similar to heroin due to the opiates. Or it could mean "poppies" as in popping pills? Idk, this song is very heroin related, talking about walking the streets behind a green sheet of glass, maybe that means his sunglasses? When I used to get high, thats one thing i loved to wear when i walked the streets. Its a kickass song, and the cosmonaut reference is from space oddity, by david bowie XD |

at the start whatsername is reminding Jimmy that no one likes him not his mom or her really, not after all the shit between them. Also Jimmys dad left thats how he has his dads rage. It's a song or "letter" she wrote to him saying im breaking up with you and leaving. Letterbomb - a letter that absolutely destroys you, it killed Jimmy aka Jesus and it led to his suicide. ( I know he didnt actually kill himself but he killed his perception of Jimmy) but id rather thing he killed himself great song. She was also more attracted to Jesus because he was more self destructive more like her than Jimmy, so shes saying youre not what you pretend you are and youre boring, its a break up song |

"I took my time I hurried up" which comes from Nirvana's come as you are. The song is supposed to be about this kid named adam that I believe hung himself in his room. The song is supposed to be reference to a note he left for his family, "remember when i spilled the apple juice in the hall" probably in reference to a funny memory between his family or friends. and I believe the part at the start about the cord, could be about a noose or something else. The song is saying he misses the days when he was younger and now that he's older life sucks. |

Let me try to analyze this because its a great song. I believe this is a song about seeing some peoples flaws in a good light because it makes them different. But I also believe hence at the start of the song and the verses the singer is replaced from excitement to dread "I've been waiting for this moment all my life but its not quite right" I believe they had wanted to have a better life and feel like they were dealt a bad hand, just as they think their "lazy eye" is a disability and makes them weird. I believe they found someone because their life goal was to fall in love but after realizing theyd be much happier alone they ditched the person |

I agree with what most people are saying, hes in a bad relationship where the girl is abusing him. Hes in love with her and shes just using him for sex and stuff/money "how much more i can spend" but he finds it hard to say no, he wants to break up with her but when she comes over he loses his nerve. Last thing i believe the last line is specifically for her, "I may be dumb

this song is about anthony's drug addiction to heroin i believe, under a bridge where he bought the drug. I believe it glorifies a famous bridge in los angeles, but i cant for the life of me remember the name of it. This song helps me, i felt the exactly same, i used to have an addiction to alcohol and whenever i hear it just reminds me of why i cant drink. I feel the same way when i hear it, and even i drank under a bridge, alone while it rained. It was super depressing, but its nice to hear it in song :) |

I agree with the above, it's about suicide by Cyanide, "Death won't you let me stay" is most likely a sign of remorse maybe, or regret while "Death, here me call your name" always makes me think of the guy wanting the Grim Reaper to appear and take him away :D |
