i completely disagree with AZSWIRLGIRL..... big time. this song means that the united states.. "government" has control. there are two ways in life you can take. the free way. where you can choose what is right, and help people, and make a difference. or you can go the other way. the way that is industrious. and full of pollution "bad things" that change the world. in a good way. but in the long run. makes no difference and ends up as a holocaust "invasion of things that are not what they are supposed to be" if you haven't seen the music video for this son. i recommend it. it will change your complete veiw on this song. in the beginning two friends split up.. one goes the industrious way. the other. goes the free way. in the end. the "free way" guy is leading a rebellion the "industrious way" guy is leading the swat team and the political the "industrious way" guy accidentally fires the guns upon the rebel. and kills his friend. that is what this whole song is about. choosing whats good. and that the government has the power to basically do anything. even if it is not good. a past president once said. "its not illegal, when the president does it" - Nixon. |

ok ok ok... on almost every entry i have made. i have noticed people arent just talking about what thie song means. most of them are talking about how awesome the "shit" is. and not talking about the lyrics at all... anyway. this song means keep pushing on and on. till you get to your destination. no matter how hard it is (through the fire and the flames we carry on!) keep your eye on it. and never give up. now some people just look at the lyrics and "translate" them for word for word. if you do that your rarely gonna find the "real" meaning of the song your looking at. you have to summarize each verse. and then put it all together. |
