@Dwitefry I think people tend to look at the suicide side of Insight more because it is the last from Ian Curtis before his suicide in 1980. When it was originally recorded, even some of his family and friends feared that it had meant he was going to do it. So it's not just the fact people tend to look for warning signs, its the fact that there were obvious warning signs ahead of time. It's just too bad no one acted on it. @bliss Freak ; That may be the best interpretation I have heard. |

Snoogie, I highly doubt it but that did make me laugh. Anyways everyone seems to have got the meaning down to pat. This has a special meaning to me as well like Zan's and Nick's. Started in the Winter, just a quick fling, then she got a boyfriend, and neither of us really got over each other for awhile, she moved on by Summer, I've just started myself a little while ago. Tis a shame, but this song helped me get through it. Also, Sleeper I disagree, the beginning accidentals fit into the song in my opinion, the song's emotional, and (at least to me it does) sounds a bit sloppy, as in Wilson has troubles playing it, really adds to the lyrics in my opinion, and I don't think he can really drag out 'She's moved on' because it wouldn't fit the tune well. |
