| They were obviously once together.. hence the "remember how it was before" unless he only means remember how life was before. but i think he knows her from before because he is saying her eyes are wider than before, such a small change but now she sees so much more, so they have known each other for a while. Like most girls it sounds like she worries, is mellow, and tender. but he has strong feelings and surrenders to her. and together he feels they have a peace of mind:) sounds like he is trying to make it work because they are struggling since she is only his for tonight:/ | |

pink power^^ anyways! i agree i think your right. someone likes someone else, but she just wants to be friends. its in the lyrics! If you wanna be my friend You want us to get along Please do not expect me to Wrap it up and keep it there (as in you want to be friends but dont expect me to just keep it at that and be satisfied by just that) A friend is not a means You utilize to get somewhere Somehow I didn't notice friendship is an end (She is utilizing him< or using him. someone misread the situation and the relationship ended at friends so they didnt become anything more than friends and maybe they are no longer friends hence " the lonliest people" part) What do you know It happened again (this is just repetition to show that he seems to be in this situation over and over again) and now my favorite line "The ones who made a difference By withstanding the indifference" he made a difference by not acting indifferent, so maybe he did try speaking his mind and she misread period. |

okay for the distance thing this is what i think: "For every inch we get we need a mile more" he means everytime he gets close to her it feels like she needs more and more space. like me and this guy i like. i see him around school alot.. but since we broke up we like "hide" from each other.. because we know that something is there wether he wants to admit it or not. we see eachother and the closer we get it seems like that further we try to get from eachother. and "but there is always so much distance can't help but feel it somehow" no matter how close they get or if they start talking again there is always something missing.. which im assuming is her love(: well thats what i think! |
