| i got the chills when i read this meaning. i always knew it was about heroin because of my frequent involvement with the "drug scene". after using opiates (sometimes intravenously) i sampled the land of milk and honey. i then realized that's all there is to it. happiness IS a warm gun. if i'm sure about anything in the world its that. no matter who you are, or what shit you're in, heroin will put a smile on your face. as a result of my experiences, i have dubbed opiates the Drug of Discipline. they are great fun and short term effects are slim to none (when properly dosed). its addiction that will come up and slap you in the face. every day it gets easier to say no, but that feeling will still be there in the deepest reaches of your mind forever. | |

He is talking about how our government and corporate America currently control the lives of all of us. thousands of lives are deliberately taken from the causes of these wealthy businesses. they just want to stay rich and have us run the economy as their slaves. in fact, most of our founding forefathers even predicted this catastrophe. It is money that turn people to hate and greed. the "law of attraction"(google it) can even be found in this song. for the first step to obtaining something is imagining it. if everyone just imagined that is was possible to live in peace, we would not be in this horrible world. but what is molding your mind to think a world this is never possible? where did you get such an idea? from everything that is fed to you by the media! obtaining world peace means that everyone would be at the same social status, money would not exist, everyone would have all necessities and more than ever imagined, and there would be no need for work, for machines can, or will soon be able to, perfectly replicate any manned operation. ENERGY IS FREE. there are countless effective free energy methods available to us. no more electricity bill, and no more need for gas. all cars will be electric and better than before. only the government will never allow such methods for the multimillion dollar industries strive off our money. religion is just another form of government. if you don't follow a certain set of rules or commandments you will be punished. they are both essentially the same. they both restrict us from carrying out potentially perfectly enjoyable lives by restricting us to only one point of view of the world, keeping everyone in a shell. the US wants us to be stupid. the dumber we are, the easier it is to control us with their products and policies. as for possessions, we would not be tricked into buying something we don't need. the human race would only care about whats really important in life and forget all useless possessions. it would be an age of enlightenment and art. maybe you would spend some time working on a song or a painting to show to your friends in stead of filing your taxes. why are we FUND RAISING for cancer when the government has billions of dollars at its disposal? maybe we could focus all our money on curing diseases like cancer and AIDS instead of into anti-terrorism agencies that are stealing all the governments money. world peace is possible if we imagine it is. imagining world peace is the first step. |

the breaking light is the beginning of the universe or the sun. the sun gives the earth life and the human strain evolves. and by dawn he means the beginning of civilization going relentless and strong. "With endless arms" refers to the sun radiating on earth, and life begins. The Chorus says "we are as one", meaning all life on earth is essentially made from stardust. "Inhaling quick" means he is attracted to a woman and is about to make love to her. When he "is born again" he is referring to their baby. Man is born again. The limitless is within his reach. this refers to the cosmos and all of out space. Man would hope to someday explore these new frontiers, and man is finally advanced enough to accomplish such feats. And a microCOSM is a miniature world, such as earth in the universe. |
