I think this untitled track (there in no title on the cd case. In fact, it isn't even numbered on the cd) is probably one of the most beautiful songs on the cd. it's about not being happy- something being wrong and wanting to escape it. Just fantasizing about a different life or place. |

I'm guessing it's about his wife. He proposed on the first date (she was a receptionist at a place where he had a meeting or something). Anyway, I think that's both completely romantic and completely crazy (and yes, she did accept, they got married and he died about 6 months later). |

The lyrics are actually "But I've never felt this feel so heavy, And I've never felt this feel so low..." Anyways- I love this song. Actually, I just love Brooke Waggoner- she's amazing! This song is about feeling just really horrible and low and then putting it all on God and letting him take care of it for you. |

I can totally see (and understand) the song being about gaining/growing in a relationship with Jesus. I also see the song being about a girl. But I wonder if it's not about both? Due to personal experiences, I've been doing research on what the Bible says about relationships and dating (I've learned it from books, churhc and brio.com (?) and boundless.org), so perhaps I'm projecting a little: He wants love and he meet someone he liked/cared for and realized his life was a little drab without her (drab apartment, better once he puts up a picture of her). He took a chance (I think men should lead) (made a connection?) and she said no or broke it off. He's come to realize that that relationship wasn't good for him and that he's picking himself off and questioning why he got that far in a relationship with someone (was he found?- did she really love him?). What's his next move? He starts looking for what really matters again (so he can feel everything) and asks that God help him get past someone he liked/cared for and had an emotional attachment to. He feels like he's sinking because of that attachment. He wants to be "saved" and released from the problems caused by a relationship not meant to be. Sorry if that doesn't make sense- it's the best I could explain it :) |
