| its all about drugs, its clear in the movie yellow submarine. It starts off in this place called pepperland. Its a euphoiotic place and everyone is happy. Its all about lsd and music. Then the blue meanies (the police) dont like pepperland and want to make it blue like everywhere else (because thats the proper way) so they invade and take away all of the joy. These blue meanies hate music/ drugs, they've never even giving it a chance. They only take no for an answer, kinda like the law always being Don't do this or that or whatever. Anyway. Throughout the whole film (apart from it being the trippiest thing ever) they keep saying how everything is fine because its all in the head. (Drugs) They meet the nowhere man, and he's this over achiving guy who's unpopular and no one likes him. But they take him along. Then they sing lucy in the sky and that whole thing takes place in this guys head litteraly. Then at the end the nowhere man goes to the blue meany and shows him how great drugs are. And the blue meany realizes that. Then they talk about how he used to be a nowhere man, but now he;s sombody. And he fits right in in pepper land where he's happy. Unlike in the nowhere zone where he was sad and crying. | |
