Pink Floyd – Celestial Voices Lyrics 16 years ago
The man and the journey version is called "The End of The Beginning" and Its one of the, if not the only time Rick Wright plays it with and actual pipe organ from a church. The organ was street from where they were playing the show. It is preceded by an unreleased song called "Behold The Temple Of Light" which fits in amazingly with this song.

Pink Floyd – Behold the Temple of Light Lyrics 16 years ago
This is definitely one of the better unreleased songs. A very simple 3 chord progression but beautiful none the less. Flows seamlessly into celestial voices.

Pink Floyd – Drift Away Blues Lyrics 16 years ago
"Drift Away Blues" is a blues improvisation that was played live on 6 July 1977 as an encore, picked in response to an aggressive audience. Roger Waters introduced the song by telling the audience that "since we can't play any of our songs, here's some music to go home to." Allegedly, David Gilmour was upset at this and slipped off the stage rather than play. It appears on the Azimuth Coordinator Part 3 bootleg.

Pink Floyd – The Massed Gadgets of Hercules/Auximines Lyrics 16 years ago
The Massed Gadgets Of Hercules/Auximines is an early version of A Saucerful Of Secrets heard on BBC sessions and bootleg recordings. It has a a few differences then it's studio counterpart. For one, Syd Barrett is a prime contributor to The Massed Gadgets Of Hercules/Auximines where as he isn't as much on A Saucerful Of Secrets. The tempo of the song and the percussion differ slightly then the album version. The "Storm Signal" part of the song is virtually non-existent however the Celestial Voices, Something Else and Syncopated Pandemonium are still in their usual places.

The Guess Who – Flying on the Ground Is Wrong Lyrics 16 years ago
Thanks agillan. An interseting fact about this song is that it was written by Neil Young for The Guess Who to record. They performed it on the CBC show hosted by former front man Chad Allen, and a few years later Neil Young would record it for Buffalo Springfield, but The Guess Who were the first to perform it even though they didn't write it. Its an awesome song though.

I Mother Earth – Raspberry Lyrics 17 years ago
It seems like it would be about someone whos gay but Christian Tanna the writer admitted that its just a bout a guy who's sexually attracted to fruit, and thats his problem he just cant help that he is born that way.

By the way Edwin is gay

I Mother Earth – No Coma Lyrics 17 years ago
If youve ever seen the video its what essentially the song is about, suicide and the popular society's way of shunning certain people into doing horrific things like murdering someone and leaving their remains in a trash bag.... a common occurance in Toronto these days. Beautiful song.

I Mother Earth – Levitate Lyrics 17 years ago
Yes, this is a really good song but you cant compare Edwin to Brian they're two completely different singers in two completely different bands they just kept the "I Mother Earth" name. Edwin did not make this band, Christian and Jag Tanna did ,they wrote all the lyrics and music. THe new IME is just as good as the old and Edwin was a pompous asshole who wanted to control the band and come out with that acoustic pop shit hes got now "right here" or whatever that gay shit is. I Mother Earth was good with both singers, but Edwin is not this band AT ALL. What a fucking insult to the hard work of the Tanna brothers you should be shamed dylmeister if you are in fact an IME fan.

I don't know hoe no one can comment on one of the most greatest guitar solos of all time, not to mention the sheer intensity and beauty of this song and this vocalist. So powerful, raw, and amazing, the nergy flows through me every time I hear this Jag Tanna guitar solo.

The Guess Who – Hang On To Your Life Lyrics 17 years ago
Webfoot you are an idiot. How could this song be based on this incident exactly if the guy had no contact with the Guess Who? You dont' just write about an incident word for word by sheer happenstance, youre either experiencing something or not. The Guess Who had no idea about this incident. Also, Friends of Mine is a tribute to the ranting of The Doors' frontman Jim Morrison, its a not Burton cummings posessed. My god you are an idiot.
