Machine Head – In The Presence Of My Enemies Lyrics
| 17 years ago

Sounds to me like it's bashing anyone who takes someone's life - whether it be by declaring war or simply psychpathic acts of violence - and seeking the proverbial last laugh somehow. |

I'm gathering it's about someone who makes you feel content & shields you from the cold, hard world. Could be a parent, guardian, spirit or a lover. |

Anthrax – Refuse to Be Denied Lyrics

It's simply about not allowing outside (terrorist)threats to interfere with the American way (freedom). About time somebody said it!! |

Anthrax – Room For One More Lyrics

Seems to me this tremendous song is based upon patiently & methodically plotting revenge on someone who might be unsuspecting it (but deserves it nonetheless). |

Anthrax – Keep It In The Family Lyrics

Anyone here heard John Bush's version of this song? Mindblowingly better than Joey Belladonna's; but then again Belladonna couldn't carry Bush's jockstrap let alone match up vocally. Care to comment??? |

Anthrax – Potters Field Lyrics
|
Well, Potter's Field is actually a cemetery of unmarked graves - but the lyrics suggest the words of possibly an aborted fetus talking to its mother. On another note, I am absolutely stunned & mortified that ANYONE could not like John Bush!! I feel his voice is metal's finest, but different strokes I guess. ;) |

Anthrax – Ball of Confusion (That's What the World Is Today) Lyrics
| 17 years ago
|
It suggests politians have a phony & self-serving agenda with no actual or helpful interest in making the world a better place. Also, we as humans have not even tapped into our potential to maximize our environment. By the way, this song is a remake of a 60's R&B tune by I think the O-Jays. |

Anthrax – Think About An End Lyrics

|
I believe this song strongly questions the validity of religion, but also that we should all be comfortable with our own ideas on what death brings us - without fear from opposing judgements. |

Best line: "YOU DROP ME WHEN YOUR HANDS AREN'T FULL". Priceless. John Bush rules. |

Anthrax – Invisible Lyrics

It appears this song is letting a friend know that he/she has dropped the proverbial ball so many times that he's prepared to write off the relationship. Sounds like the author may be giving this person one more chance, but is very suspicious & almost out of faith. |
