Yngwie Malmsteen – Vengeance Lyrics

Why does nobody comment on Yngwie. I thought this place would be swarming with guitar nerds talking about how crap everything is because it's slightly simpler than something else. |

i know it's just sad. The "christians" beating people up are completely going against their own religion n' they're just using religion as an excuse anyway. |

I've found no trace of this band apart from that they covered this song on an Aerosmith tribute cd. The guy breaks his guitar n' they go into a rant. |

This is the first song Steven Tyler ever recorded with a band. Back then he was still called Steven Tallarico (before he got a stage name). It was a commercial flop and they didn't make any money. It is included on the Aerosmith box-set Pandora's Box. |

Anti-Flag – Fuck The Pope Lyrics

Yeah a lot of people murder n' cause war pointlessly in the name of God (Hitler ect) but in doin' that they're not followin' their religion they're just using it as an excuse. It's the same with most holy wars. We aren't tryin' to push our beliefs on you (that would be messin' with free will n' would be a horrible thing to do. If you don't want to believe in a religion then don't, it's just part of our religion to tell people about God n' then they use their own judgement on what they should do. I've already tried to say sorry about the pushy street preachers and i think they're out of order. Sorry i don't really know the answer to your question, i guess it depends cos if you're brought up in a certain religion it's difficult to ecpect anyone to change it n' in a way it is unfair to. :) |

Anti-Flag – Fuck The Pope Lyrics

Yeah i completely agree and it is true what you're saying, but when people only hear that they are goin' to hell they get angry and that's just something us Christians have to take into account when we speak to non Christians. I just think people respond better when they hear the positives of our religion, rather than these people who rant n' rave on the street with a megaphone tellin' everyone what evil people they are. You can't scare anyone into love, and that includes lovin' God. Unfortunately people don't see strict evangilists as saving them from hell, they see them as people who want to enslave people into their religion, which is totally the wrong angle, but that's just how folkz see it. I think we should tell people 'bout the good things about our religion before dumpin' all the depressin' stuff on them and throwin' them in the deep end. I do think hell sux as it is the exact opposite of heaven which is perfect and you are right, it's just a case of puttin' in in a nice way. God bless |

Right, i'm in the middle here cos i'm protestant. I think that a lot of gay people are pretty cool, i just don't really agree with their way of life. Hate is a really strong word n' people need to understand that proper Christians don't hate anyone or they wouldn't be followin' their own religion. The ones who hate homosexuals as individuals are just being counter productive and OTT. There are just some over preachy folkz who think that they can scare n' shout people into believin' the same as them. Idiots. They just make everyone stereotype Christians as nasty little preachers when most of 'em are normal people with normal lives (which includes not malesting kids!) Another thing, i believe that certain stages in your developement as a child determine whether you have homosexual 'tendencies' but if you do you can still decide whether to act on them or not. If you're a Christian readin' this then make sure ya don't go around talkin' 'bout hell cos it'll only make people angry. Get with the times n' be an awesome new tolerant generation that helps instead hates n' talks about happy stuff. I apologise on behalf of any self-obsessed 'Christians' who think they rule the world. God isn't out to just punish like they say, so don't let 'em make you think he is. I can understand where this song is coming from but just try not to lump us all in together as violent, hateful monsters. |
