I'm not sure if any of you know but the part at the start of this song that Jamie Foxx sings is a hymn from the bible about women who use men. I once read it in an interview with Kanye West. Does no-one else know this or am I pointing out the obvious? As for the arguement about whether Gold Digger is good or not and whether it's Poetic or not. I'm not really a 'Rap/HipHop' kind of person but this is one of the songs that really stood out to me and I have enjoyed it for a while. It has very good lyrical potential and has a really nice feel to it. But I do believe that The Automatic's version is a lot better. =] |

People who are moaning about the title length. There is a reason for the long title. "Oh, and the smokes in that cigarette box at your table They just so happen to be laced with nitroglycerin" He put the cigarettes on her table, not necessarily to kill her but so that he can make her look like an idiot when she lights one and it blows up in her face. But of course he personally didn't put them on the table. The 'waiter' or someone put them there ... Thats why it's called "There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet" Well thats what I think anyway ... It all figures =D |
