Heres what I think the song is about.... Its about a relationship that went sour, but he wanted to break up with her but she ended up doing it before he did... Basically fueling what he wrote "I want you to be free Don't worry about me And just like the movies We play out our last scene" Its very obvious its about a break up..It seems like he was broke up with and he just wants her to be happy and saying I'll be fine dont worry about me, and that they will always think about each other and the reasons why it all went wrong, hence why he said "We will play out our last scene" meaning he will be trying to break down the relationships faults. "In our short years, we come long way To treat it bad and throw away" He's saying that they learned a lot from each other, and its useless to think negative of the relationship or neglect the memories that came from it because it didnt go the way he planned... but yet hes finding himself sour from it all because she broke up with him "We both want power" Both wanted the power to end the relationship and its obvious that she did it before he did and it pissed him off. |
