Oh yeah I forgot to say that they are called Satanists becuase of their rejection of God, or rejection of the way the world currently is. Most Satanists want a better world (not just destruction which the name Satan implies), which alot of people dont get. I think Marilyn Manson is mis-interpreted the same way. |

For those saying satanism is hypocritical because to believe in Satan you have to believe in God is missing the point. Satanists don't believe in either Satan or God (since to believe in one you believe the other). You are your own God. And just like any other religion there are countless variations of Satanism. And yes this song rocks! |

Cool song, its what made SoaD popular. The first part of the song is about an abusive relationship, then the victim asks God why he forsakened the victim to this kind of life and ultimately has to commit suicide. I think it can be broadened to not just being hurt by a specific person but by anything, society, life, whatever. |
