Lifetime – The Truth About Lars Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I chose a life of missed callings And lost hopes Of empty trains Railway dreams Losing fast Gaining steam I was born tonight down highway skies When miles race under my head I'll remember what you said And I'll stay out till it's done for me And my legacy will be one that keeps me pushing me away So it's back to engines Underfoot And miles of great disdain They never understand the way I walk And you know it's the way I talk That keep me from knowing when I should see The things you're showing me And it's you I want to do this to And it's looks like that that'll make me stay with you Keep your cool I'll be home soon And know that it's you It's you It's you |
Braid – Collect From Clark Kent Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"But come and pick me up first please" Like an angel decending from the sky! =P |
Braid – (Strawberry Ann) Switzerland Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Strawberry Ann Switzerland Straddles the line Between his and mine We'll keep honor We'll keep on her With basically Tactical signs of life In burning a candle We'll burn our hands off For your side If we're so clever If we're so ever wanting leverage Then how come I'm crying Eleven feet from your bedside Let me inside You can always come over And I can always miss you all over You can always come over And I can always kiss you all over What happened late tonight Our eyes in the moonlight With our lies So give me a chance and I Promise I'll make it all Make it all Alright Give me a chance and I Promise we'll make it all Make it all Worthwhile Give me a chance and I Promise I can make you Smile Did I make you smile? And is there peace tonight Cause if everythings a fight Then everything is nothing But nothing's important But nothing's important But nothing Is important You can always come over And I can always miss you |
The Freeze – This is Boston, Not L.A. Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Fuck L.A. |
The Dead Milkmen – If You Love Somebody, Set Them on Fire Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Cute, but in a hardcore kinda way. |
Knapsack – Cold Enough to Break Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I heard Christmas bells, therefore the song's setting must be during the winter. The title also helped me draw to that conclusion. To me, it sounds like a college boy maintaining a long distance relationship during the loneliest season of the year. I'm guessing the "mistake" part must be about leaving and the seperation and regretting not staying home. |
Cro-Mags – Malfunction Lyrics | 17 years ago |
More like Cro(ssover)-Mags. They're still cool though. |
None More Black – Drop The Pop Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The news hit me like a ton I didn't know what I was waiting for That day came like a rolling thunder And we were waiting for the sun "Hey man I haven't seen you in a while" Get the hell out of this circumstance Can't fight this kind of feeling that we're dealing with I feel helpless and useless It's clear now This day's decided I feel like I'm defeated Shivers, shake the ground we're on Cold feet dance in nervousness Speechless with my hands in my pockets Skin cracks as we march in Sit down and let the feeling take control Creepy, can't hide it with a smile I'm pretty sure I don't believe in god, but I Can pretend for a little while It's clear now This day's decided I feel like I'm defeated It's clear now this heart's divided I feel like I'm defeated |
Hot Cross – Solanka Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"What", she shouted Through (welcomes?) in our tears Oh, you're leaving Me after all these years The killing of the hunts in the hollow grounds (I'm?) never explained Why all the other (dances of?) our perfect lives (?) I tried. |
Hot Water Music – All Heads Down Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Black Flag – Six Pack Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Greg Ginn wrote the song. Henry Rollins just sang it. |
Leftover Crack – Atheist Anthem Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I don't see any sarcasm. Leftöver Crack is stating that the religious people view atheist as immoral and demonic. The straight edge part can be interpreted two ways. -It could be about how religion somehow made it's way into the sXe philosophy. Lots of hardliners over the years have converted to Islam, Christianity and Hare Krishna. -It could be the lost of faith. Most hardcore kids don't keep their edge and leave the scene in favor of alcohol and other sedatives. People lose faith in God and choose to live a less restrictive life. |

Born Against – Murder The Sons Of Bitches! Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Here comes another round of Deploy and deter more strong More strong words for Bullshit that doesn't work Levers pulled for For pulling levers while Grown adults Stand and applaud Stronger measures Home security Is taken on faith as Larger apparatus Slowly slides in to place Larger apparatus Slowly slides in to place No bells toll when Lights dim in prison halls No tears slip when Solemn state duty calls Just you wait Just you wait... Until you get in the way Murder The sons of bitches make them Make them pay for Pay for their victims pain This may not This may not always work but But by god But by god They'll never do that again Levers pulled for For pulling levers while Grown adults Stand and applaud Stronger measures Home security Is taken on faith as Larger apparatus Slowly slides in to place The flesh still works Up until the switch is thrown But the state lives on Long after its cells are gone Murder Murder Murder Murder For pulling levers while Grown adults Stand and applaud Stronger measures Home security Is taken on faith as Larger apparatus Slowly slides in to place Just you wait Just you wait... This is how it starts |
