Weezer – Smart Girls Lyrics
|
Rivers actually said this horrible song is about how after he got married, he noticed that their were hot girls all over him all of a sudden. He changed the title from "hot girls" to "smart girls"... yeah. Great album, awful song. It almost seems like a bad sequel to Tired of Sex or something. |

Definitely the best tune on Raditude, an incredibly underrated track. I doubt they'll play this one live, and it'll probably go forgotten.. shame. |

Weezer – All My Friends Are Insects Lyrics

Silly song, wasn't actually written by Weezer though. They did it for Yo! Gabba Gabba, and if you can check out the video, you won't be sorry. Very fun song, makes you want to hear a Weezer children's album. |

Weezer – Time Flies Lyrics

An amazing song. Pretty deep and absurdly catchy. This should've made the actual album instead of the Deluxe. They could've gotten rid of "Where's My Sex". Great tune. |

My ocular nerrrrve went pop zoom!
That's probably my favorite line from a Weezer song since 96'. |

Angels and Airwaves – Lifeline Lyrics

Another amazing new song.. Holy shit, this album is going to be better than Whisper.. it seems he fixed what was wrong with that album (repetition mostly) and mixed it with a box car sound... truly unreal. |

Great job bro, and how fucking awesome is this song?? The only thing is, I think it's "nervous like a knife fight"... but i could be wrong. |

Angels and Airwaves – Down (Live) Lyrics
|
I agree, this doesn't sound very good the way he was doing it... but first of all, who the hell are you to say what he should and shouldn't be singing. In a desperate attempt to play for more than 40 mins, 44 is covering other peoples songs! Tom actually wrote this song, it's his to play. And people need to chill with that Mark interview, we don't know either of them personally, for all I know Hoppus is full of sh*t. As a fan of Blink it's cool to hear something from the past. Paul McCartney still sings Beatles songs doesn't he? |

Petula Clark – Downtown Lyrics

Haha, hell yea to the Seinfeld comment. I do the same thing. And Lost nearly ruined it for me with that creepy ass chick basically getting off on it while looking in the mirror. A bad attempt at redoing the whole Make Your Own Kind of Music scene from season 2. |

Eminem – Murder, Murder Lyrics
|
This is ridiculous, and no one else has mentioned it either. But after literally 8 years of listening to this song, it just hit me that he's sampling 50 ways to leave your lover by Paul Simon. One came on after the other on my winamp, and I couldn't believe I had never noticed this before. Unreal. Eminem WAS the greatest |

Angels and Airwaves – The Machine Lyrics

Ummm, sorry 1blink but this is a different version. The music is COMPLETELY different. It's much more straight up rock and roll, not the regular "anthem" sound of AVA. I don't find it to be as good as Start the Machine |

Mama Cass Elliot – Make your own kind of music Lyrics
| 17 years ago
|
The actual meaning I get from this song (non-Lost), is that maybe the record executives wanted her (or them) to keep making hit singles... the kind of songs they knew would sell. But Mama Cass just wanted to make "her own kind of music", the songs she wanted to make...even if nobody else sang along. |

My Chemical Romance – All I Want For Christmas Is You Lyrics
| 17 years ago
|
You don't have to be a Mariah Carey fan or a pussy to admit that her christmas songs were really awesome. I'm into some pretty hardcore music but would never deny for one second that her X-Mas album and this song in particular kick ass. Anyway, My Chem does a great job on a song that was originally found on the Kevin and Bean X-Mas album. |

Angels and Airwaves – Star of Bethlehem Lyrics

Ok, this song was released on the Kevin and Bean album WITHOUT the long intro, so no need to discuss it. Now this is a wonderful song (although repetitive again), truly hitting the epic sound that Tom reaches for. My only question is, what the heck does this have to do with Christmas? |

I'll use the same line twice... I wouldn't know the guy from Bayside if he kicked me in the balls, let alone recognize his girlfriend. How do you get fame from becoming the guy from Bayside's girlfriend!?! |

Yea, "I got sex you got fame".
No offense, dude I love Bayside. But honestly I wouldn't know the lead singer if he kicked me in the balls, let alone his ex-girlfriend (and that is who the song is about, that model chick). |

(+44) – No It Isn't (Album Version) Lyrics
| 17 years ago
|
This is actually better than the demo version for a couple of reasons. One, it sounds ridiculously clean now. Two, the "rock" part of the song is extended by at least 45 seconds, and electric guitars were added to definetly make this a kick ass song. Travis is also much nicer on the drums on this one.
One more thing; The line "You swear you wouldn't lose than lost your brain".... that's pretty weak Hoppus, not a good lyric. |

Put this on a mix cd. Your friends will initally want to slap you. They will then pretend they hate you. You will then go to their house and find that they downloaded it when they got home. You will then all enjoy it together. It's a simple formula. |

I think the line is: "I was in a car crash, It wasn't the war but I've never been quite the same."
This is one of my favorite songs ever by the Foo, if I remember correctly it was a B-Side on the Monkeywrench single way back in 97. Yes it is a cover, but much better. |
