yeah...the song is pretty catchy and its great. the message is pretty simple, about a girl who doesn't care about a guy/relationship anymore. i think the video shows that nicely, with the band singing about the girl/the problem, meanwhile everyone else (and the girl) just continues life around them... just a note tho...why does the board seem to fill up with random messages of about "oh, this is about me and how i'm sad b/c some guy/girl doesn't like me"...sigh, cry my a river... and thanks for peopel like lyricalharmony who contribute so much to songMEANINGS.net by posting about how much they love a song...good grief... |

Depression followed by contemplating suicide possibly? He's thinkign of killing himself, and he knows that most people don't understand why they would want to kill themselves. But when you're depressed, you don't really care and feel numb inside, for lack of another way of saying it. Anyways, he's hit rock bottom and killing himself is the only way/chance out. However, the last part where he repeates "save me"...err..i unno? =P |

Either: 1) A chick just broke up with the guy due to arguements or what not, but he still feels attached to her. Yet, he still tries again, and reminds her that in relationships, sometimes, you have to give (sway). But when he tries to ask her about why she dropped him, she says she doesn't know and that she's pretty much done with him "and all you want is to find home". Or 2) A non-chick & guy interpretation: Kinda describes growing up where people go through life changing moments. The singer has gotten past some of these rough moments, and is trying to help a friend go through these experiences as well. Plus, this song has a long @$$ed ending! There's something to start the ball. Thanks ben2k9 for your input. |

There's a guy or girl in a relationship in which they aren't appreciated/not really wanted. They finally approach their "significant other" and bring up the problem, only to get a stupid or cold answer. They finally realise that things aren't going to get better, but are left with nothing after years of being dragged along by someone who lied to them just to keep them around. It truly is quite unbelievable what people will do to or for others... |

Great song! I also first heard this song when i watched a video of martial artists/performers. The song is pretty pumped and matched well with the clip. After listening to it a few times and reading the lyrics, i think the song is trying to get people who already know that they should break out to do so instead of pretending to follow, and keep their true thoughts and feelings covered up; stop 'pretending to be blind' even though you're not. The point is to not keep your thoughts and true intentions to yourself, but to go and express them. btw...kudos to ppl who post msgs such as "i love this song" or "awesome" on a site called songMEANINGS.net...without contributing anything else...keep up the good job |

Love this song...This song is pretty blunt in what it means, one person in a relationship feels committed to their special someone, but that someone is still hesitant somewhat. Yet, they're showing that person how much they mean to them, and sings of an unknown, but bright future...great, great song...right now though, its kinda ironic for me...my special someone has basically slammed the door shut in my face... btw...kudos to ppl who post msgs such as "i love this song" or "i love this band" on a site called songMEANINGS.net...without contributing anything to what the song meanings..keep up the good job |

I think this probably has to do with something about corporations selling products or following the leader, coupled with the usual message of dont buy into it. The singer is trying to convince a friend or someone who has been suckered into being one of the "masses", bought by the big business or blinded by the trends set by the "popular crowd". Also, there are some mistakes in the lyrics posted...not too major tho... And kudos to people like pumpkinhed who post useless msgs on songMEANINGS.net like "i like this band" or "i love this song" without contributing anything to the supposed discussion of the meaning of the song |

| The song describes, to me, the feeling of someone has for another, who means so much to them, their wonderwall. However, the girl in this case has just been through with another relationship that ended sourly. So he tries...the guy is trying to tell her how much she means to him, but it only stays in his heart. He struggles with the expression of these emotions, and tries to drop clues as to how he feels. However, as he can only do so much, he has to wait and see fi she responds to him in the same and looks forward for hope. | |

Songs can be open to many interpretations, and though they are different, will generally have the same theme. This one I feel everyone has run into at one point or another, and even a few years after the sogn was realeased, you still see ppl pop in and say "yeah, I'm going through that", or "yeah, I've gone through it already"... Personally, I'm running through that now. To me, the song speaks about thsi "relationship" I have with this girl now. We've been friends for more than a year now, and she broke up and then I told her how I felt about her, and wanted to start somethign with her. But I've been noticing its really uncomfortable at times and we were never *actually* togehter, and she's dropping subtle hints of "lets just be friends"...it hurts, but I've got to let her go...=\ So the song does apply somewhat to me, although not all the lines. Its a beautiful song... |
